We went for a ride and had never been to Brookline NH. One a chance walked in and was immediately welcomed by Vena who could not have been more welcoming. The place is very home/welcoming. We had the zucchini chips which went will with the cold beer. The Chowder was a little heavy but tasty. The salads were crisp and very large. If your in the area, you would do well for good food at great prices with fun staff. Will be going back to give dinner a try.

Having lived in Portland Or for quite some time, i have become some what of a food snob. I was certainly not disappointed with Chrysanthi’s. I love their support of local farms and community as well. Upon entering i was greeted by the friendly staff and the owner. It felt warm and cozy and the ambiance was great for a meal with friends and family. We had a table of 5. The Lobster Zola special was exquisite. The cream sauce was not too heavy or too much. The lobster raviolis themselves were perfectly cooked, filled with lobster chunks, not just barely filled with a few tiny pieces. in the center of the plate on top of the raviolis were chances of lobster tails doc law. well worth it. I enjoyed the steak tips, too, which were ample in size and flavor. I’m glad I skipped the appetizer as this plate was perfect in serving size and completely satiating. I did go for the cheesecake dessert, which was also delicious. I love cheesecake. I would most certainly eat there again.

Ordered steak and lobster zola,(lobster ravioli with a cream sauce and three steak tips) for $ 21.99. The lobster was very good but steak tips were tough and over cooked. I couldn’t hardly cut it or chew it. After the first bite of steak I decided not to eat it or return it as the lobster was good. I told the waitress and she apologize. I told her not to bother with the re– fire of the steak tips and I would just eat the lobsters. I thought mabye there would be a small adjustment on the bill but no. I asked her if they had lobster ravioli on the menu and she said yes. I said I would only jet that next time as the steak was inedible. Still she didn’t get the hint. I was charged full price but only ate the ravioli. The lobster ravioli on the menu is 17.99 I think. Not a big difference from 21.99 but it would have been nice to have some credit. That said, the food and service are good, much better than Georgios. And they have free wifi.

This is our local go to restaurant. Staff is great here. The Greek Salad is excellent — I always get a greek salad with dinner here. The seafood is fresh and well prepared — My go to is Scallops — Baked or Fried. The chili is excellent — nice and spicy.

Very friendly atmosphere. Feels like a Greek, Italian atmosphere. Very homey type feel. Food was delicious. Lamb Shank was well worth it and their raviolies. Better priced than olive garden and way fresher than olive Garden. No maltodextrin in the food so you don’t leave feeling sick to your stomach like most restaurants.

This is the closest restaurant to my house, so I’m glad it’s a good one. The food here is above average, and some menu items are great. The corn chowder with bacon is worth the drive alone. That said, you won’t be shocked by the amazingness of the food. You also won’t be shocked by the higher prices at close restaurants like Giorgios. Long story shot, good solid food and great prices. All that said, the reason I’m happy to five star these guys is the management. Every time we’ve been in there and had even a minor issue the management has swooped in to solve our problem. Here’s an example, I had a glass for my beer that smelled like it had not been rinsed after cleaning with a harsh cleaner. The manager(pretty sure he was the owner) explained that the dishwashers were somewhat overzealous in application of cleaner. He then grabbed my glass and went in the back and hand washed it for me. A last note is that they are set up real well for snowmobiles. They’re right off a major artery for snowmobile trails and they actually advertise in said trails. In the winter you can drive right up park your machine outside and make use of the hangers for helmets and snow gear. Good food, great prices, and some of the best service in NH. Go get you some chowdah!

We stopped in for lunch after hiking in the nearby Andres Park. Staff was friendly and gave suggestions as to some of the dishes they were known for. The seafood chowder was creamy and tasty. The zucchini chips were very good, crispy without being greasy and not heavily breaded. The moussaka was said to be usually available and was delicious! Authentic and perfectly spiced. Will definitely come again when we are next up that way.

My burger had no flavor. It was dry and tough. Everything else was great. Will try it again. People were very friendly.

The food here made me very sick. I ordered a salad and a baked sub, The sub was luke warm(it was not busy at all). I’m thinking they made an amateur mistake like putting raw beef above raw vegetables in the cooler.

We just moved to Brookline and have already eaten here three times. We’ve dined in twice, once for lunch and once for dinner and we got pizza for takeout once. The food has been excellent every time. Dine-in service is solid and friendly. It’s a little loud inside during dinner hours but there’s outdoor seating that’s much quieter. The seafood tastes fresh and they have excellent specials to choose from. The pizza was good — I am a thin crust person(I grew up on southeastern MA bar pizza) so I am really looking forward to trying their thin crust option, but their regular crust is good too. This place is definitely going to be a staple.

Hybrid Greek/Italian restaurant. I’ve been there around 6ish times now, and the Italian portion of the menu is definitely the winner in my book. The two times I got Greek food I found myself getting jealous of my wife’s plate. Ok, this is the important part of this review: You might think $ 16.99 is too much to pay for eggplant parmesan, but then you would be wrong. I’m usually a meat eater, but this is seriously the best EP I’ve ever had. Friendly staff. Also, the owner seems really nice too, and he is usually there walking around making sure everything is going well.

I’m from Boston and I travel in my work. I stopped by recently at noon(5÷19÷15). I met by a very lovely young lady from Manchester who waited on me. I knew nothing about the restaurant so she pointed to the specials board. I go the lamb kabobs. WOW! Fantastic. The lamb was done perfectly and the accompanying salad, bread, rice, and sauce were exceptional. I was totally suprised at the quality of the meal. All I wanted was a quick sandwich and I got a gourmet meal. I should have asked the ladies name but I didn’t. She was very friendly, efficient, informative, and just plain sweet. I felt like I knew her for a long time by the time I left. I would highly reconmmed this restaurant to anyone who loves middle eastern favors and form what I see, perfect pizzas also. Thank you for the very kind service and great food. Also, moms baklava(sp.) was outstanding. I WILLBEBACKSOON… MAKINBGASPECIALTRIPFORMBOSTONJUSTTOEATHERE… JEFF

well we live nearby and have probably driven past several hundred times in the 10 years it has been open… so first time there… lunch recently… smallish nice looking place with provision for outside seating in non snowy weather… menu is extensive, beer and wine selections limited… server(vona i think) was great and suggested the fried zucchini app which was great, wife had the blackened salmon caesar, and i the cheeseburger plate which came with onion rings and a nice fresh side salad… food was great, service was great… we have been missing something for years… would certainly recommend highly and we will be back!!!

This is our go-to restaurant and It appears to be family owned and operated. They are always friendly and the food is always great. The seafood is fresh, the lobster rolls are huge, and the lobster ravioli is my favorite. They are the exact opposite of, say, Parker’s maple barn which is all farce. Go here because it’s great quality food and good service by people who work hard to make it a real gem.

I’ve been going to Chrysanthi’s for over two years now. It is the closest eatery to my house, but that’s not my only motivation. Chrysanthi’s makes Greek and Italian food with a pretty unique menu and daily specials and soups. The building is on the smallish side, but it’s open and bright, and in the warmer months you can slide out onto the deck, which is our favorite. We’ve eaten about half of the menu since coming here. They make a delicious carbonara, but my wife’s favorite is their seafood — always fresh and tasty. While the food is good, what brings us back is the staff. They are always friendly, funny, and attentive. They never have an issue with accommodating our little gremlin people, no matter how rambunctious they get. They also serve a mean breakfast on weekends — very good(standard breakfast fare). Worth going to, and even though they may look like one of the local«house of pizzas»(their pizzas are excellent, try their special thin crust) their food is definitely more upscale, and priced that way.

We had them cater a party over the weekend for 40+ people. They were extremely easy to deal with over the phone to plan the menu. They offered to delivery at whatever time we needed. They didn’t demand immediate payment, were very wonderful over the phone. The day of — he arrived on time with the food. Brought it in, set up where we needed it, included serving utensils as well. Tried to pay with a card and were told to ‘not worry about it’ that night — he told us to enjoy our party and call in the morning for payment. The food was amazing! Everything was delicious! The steak tips especially! I would HIGHLY recommend to anyone who wants catering near Brookline, or wants a comfortable sit down meal!

Great place, especially for the area. We got the corn chowder soup which was very good. That was just a warm up. The Main course was the seafood platter which we had split in two(neither of us could finish it) and it was outstanding. VERY fresh, fried haddock, shrimp, and scallops. I washed it down with a blue moon which was a good time. Will definitely be back if I am in the area support this place!
