I do not recommend you use this company. Erin DeFuria has unlawfully kept my rental deposit for over 8 weeks. She is being investigated by the licensing board of Mass. I may have to sue her for my money back and posibly press charges. I put an offer in on a Cambridge rental on June 6, 2012 and gave Erin via an associate agent a $ 2840 deposit for the first month’s rent. They required me to do this even prior to the application being submitted and deposited the money in their account even before my application went in. I didn’t get the apartment(found out the next day) and I was told my deposit cheque would be mailed back to me. I never got it and waited over 3 weeks. She wrote me a cheque for the money in early July and when I deposited it, it came back NSF July 31. She then apologized and said she would wire me the money on August 3 and did not do that. Now she is ignoring all phone calls and emails. She didn’t get me the apartment, has essentially stolen my money and wrote me a bounced check in repayment. Do not use this agent or her company Brookline REG.

I used Erin to rent an apartment in Cambridge. In short, she is completely unprofessional and a notorious liar. Would not recommend.

Erin at Brookline Real Estate Group was so helpful to my roommate and I. She really took time to find us a good place when there was not a lot on the market and other realtors were so unhelpful! Erin charged a minimal fee, and this was the first time I was ever HAPPY to pay a fee, the service was well worth it!
