Brookline Community Mental Health Center

Really wanted to like this place. The hours are good, the facility is nice, and my counselor and I had a good repor. However, when I specifically state in the original intake that I need to be seen for medication, I would like to be seen relatively soon.
Instead, they told me there was a 2 week wait, which I could have forgiven, had they not told me at the end of the two weeks to wait another 2 weeks. They sent this last message through my counselor, and suggested I call my last prescriber, who I had already stated that I did not want to contact. This was something that I also mentioned in my first session in intake as well as with the counselor, but, hey, I guess it’s not important unless it’s an emergency.
I hate to be the kind of person that fakes an emergency, but it seems like you have to if you want to be seen anytime soon.

Kind, warm, understanding, reasonable.
Works on a sliding scale if needed. Works with all/​most insurances. Highly recommended.
