Our furnace stopped working earlier today and it was 24 degrees outside. I called Absolute Mechanical requesting the best possible appointment. I spoke with Tina who had excellent customer service skills. She promised someone would arrive in a couple of hours to check out my furnace. I thought that was a great response. But even better… Kevin arrived at my house 55 minutes later! That’s fantastic service! Kevin was great and had my heat back on quickly and assured me that my furnace was completely checked out and well within spec on everything. He also took time to explain everything he did and the problem that caused my furnace to stop working. The bill was very reasonable. I’m so happy with this experience that I’m writing my first Unilocal review. I highly recommend Absolute Mechanical.

We had our boiler replaced by Absolute Mechanical two years ago. Their rates were very good. They were prompt, friendly, professional, and clean. I simply cannot give a better rating. We love being warmer AND saving money. Kevin just left my house after responding to a question I had, and making a slight adjustment… NO CHARGE.

I called because I couldn’t take July any more. Requested a quote for installation of Fujitsu split duct. Sold on the system that could also be used as heat pump when temps are above freezing. Installation 2 weeks sooner than their nearest competitor and an outstanding installation team, who had it in a week later in under 4 hours. Left all spaces clean on leaving at the end. Perfectly operation ever since.
Tracking household expenses,

So far, saved 90 gallons of oil in heat. Cost savings, oil price minus extra electric, is $ 300 for 1 year’s use. It is winter now, but 40 degrees today. I should have it on for these moderate days, for more oil savings.

All I can say is, get a second opinion!!! Our furnace stopped working and we had a tech from here come take a look. The ignitor was bad and he replaced that. While doing so he noticed that our heat exchanger was bad. He panicked and said he might have to turn it off and tag it. He called the boss and was told no. They gave us and approximate cost of $ 1700 to replace the exchanger. Thank goodness my husband likes to search and confirm pricey things like that. We found a place that charged us $ 400, the exchange was under warranty still. Some thing this place didn’t bother to check on. And the ignitor, it was the wrong one.
Update in response to Absolute Mechanical Systems’ message to me. When this review was posted we lived in BROOKLINE, New Hampshire less than a mile away from this company. This review IS NOT a mistake, I am very careful about making reviews.
