Days Inn Brooklawn Philadelphia

This place has seen better days. Maybe about 50 years ago. I guess I shouldn’t expect a luxury hotel for the price, and they *did* let my dog stay for free (but only because the guy at check in didn’t feel like processing my card again for the $ 10 pet fee). Seriously though: cigarette burns in the sheets, ripped up bed cover, dirty bathroom floor. All the fixtures are rusty, paint peeling off the walls, holes in the curtains. Our door would even close so they had a guy come and sort of drill a new hole to fix it, but we still needed to slam it to get it to latch closed, and even then the deadbolt wouldn’t lock.
The location’s alright, about 10 mins outside Philly, and the price was ok, though I feel like even $ 70 is too much for this place.

It was cheap. It did have an elevator. Breakfast was good. Shower was hairy. Bed was hard. Our room had no soap.
