Wild River Brewing & Pizza

This was the most unappealing dining experience I have ever had. The pizza was worse. The beer was great. I would recommend a different place if possible. 2 bites of gross pizza and I feel worse than I did before I went in. And seriously why cut the pizza into squares? I should have got a totinos. It would have been better and cheaper. I won’t be back. Ever. Thanks for wasting 30 bucks wild river.

Greasy, grimy, crusty food. If you want quality and a happy atmosphere go to Zolas. Zolas is the best pizza I have had in Oregon. Wild river is repulsive, and they put those poor high schoolers to work. I heard the boss yell at them in such a manner that should not be allowed no matter what the problem. Their pizza is gross, their boomerang Formica carpet is soiled, and not to mention their was a red substance on my water cup. The beer selection is lovely though.

I have had my share of pizza places and this place is awesome the bbq chicken pizza is to die for and if you haven’t tried their chips (potato wedges their way) you should they are the best I have ever had, the staff is always friendly and its a great place to take the kids,

I’ve had pizza from all over. New York to California. This pizza rates on the low 2’s if there was such a thing. We can’t understand how this place is always packed!
I assume it is because of the young ones who like the chaotic atmosphere. I know my kids ask a lot to go here because of the vending machines and video games, sometimes we acquiesce and usually regret it. Forget trying to have a conversation in this place. Long lines, terrible salad bar that is usually dirty, pizza is sub-​par, and so not worth the cost!
Again, if you have kids then this place would be a fun idea for a family night occasionally. If your looking for good pizza in a clean comfortable environment, continue your search!

Whenever we crave pizza, Zola’s has always been our «go to» place. Decided to switch it up for once and try Wild River Pizza. Went on a Thursday night to order a pizza to go and drink a beer and play pinball while watching the baseball playoffs.
Holy Chucky Cheese… I walk in to pure pandemonium… A dozen screaming kids running all over the place. I stood at the counter to order and had to wait as two separate customers were complaining about their food. Counted nine employees doing their best but clearly overmatched and under managed. Tried to order pizza and dessert, but the employee didn’t know how to input a «half and half» pizza so he had to get help. Repeated twice that the order was «to go.» Got my ticket and it read «dine in.» Got back in line to correct the error.
Got a beer and went to play pinball. Once again, the machines were out of order. I’ve been here several times to have a beer and play pinball and the machines are always out of order.
Tried to watch the game but the screaming kids made it almost impossible. Finally got my number called. Realized they forgot my brownie, so back I go… Get home and break out the pizza… So underwhelming. Super thin crust with stingy toppings. The brownie, however, was excellent.
I’m so sorry I cheated on you, Zola’s… It’ll never happen again.
Update: Usually when I get a message from a business for which I leave a less than favorable review, I groan. Cody, the owner of Wild River sent me a very nice response and was very classy in praising his competition. I assume I caught them on an off night and look forward to trying them at another time.

The pizza and the beer were decent. I was disappointed with the atmosphere — would be great for a big family on a busy evening. There was no one around at lunch time, and I wish I would’ve known that we were supporting an Oregon chain restaurant. Next time I would search a little harder for something a little more mom and pop.

Classic family favorite, everything is great here! The athenian pizza is an eclectic treat! The fried potaro chips are a nostalgic classic! Always a good fun family vibe here! Highly recommend! Great place for kids or large parties! They have a game room to keep everybody busy!

After a day of exploring Oregon’s southern coastline, pizza and beer was calling or names. Wild River Pizza was close to our hotel, and had fairly good reviews on Unilocal.It did not disappoint!
The place is am older building-​décor, yet a very family orientated atmosphere with game tables and viedo machines. Loved it!
The two ladies that waited on us were very friendly and so helpful, it was a pleasure. The one at the bar halped me with some great beer suggestions (and tastes of) on several self brewed beers so i was able to choose one to go with hubbies and my tastes.
From the time we ordered till the pizza was ready did take some time, and it wasn’t busy yet, but it was made by hand to order, so understandable.
The Margherita pizza (large) was okay to good, with lots ofgarlic on top (mmmmm!). I was sad that the basil was dried versus fresh, and sparsely used. Having said that, we managed to inhale the whole large pizza!
Yep, this place is bookmarked for a future visit.

The pizza? Delicious! The employees? Friendly and helpful! The chips??? The best and most appreciated surprise!!! We saw that they offered jojos (they call them chips) and decided to give them a try and got a medium order to go. They were wonderful! Scrumptiously crispy on the outside and delectably creamy inside!

The pizza was very good and so were the garlic cheese bread sticks. The only downfall was we had to wait forever for our order to be taken. They could use more staff especially on the weekends.

Best pizza place around ! Plus I love the way they cut the pizzas in little squares
Great place for kids if you have them and wanna go out as a family since they have a little arcade section
Lots of beer on tap as well as their fresh made rootbeer
The only con I came in contact with at this location was how dirty it was, lots of trash and napkins on such on the floor. Other than that I grew up eating at this pizza place but the one in cave junction ! Def a great pizza spot! And huge location so it’s good for groups

Food was really good we had a jet pizza and a gluten free … Was really good will recommend to anyone

Great place for families– the food is consistent and it’s a great place to let the kids loose with the game area.
We also like the ‘chips’ they have at this location!

We have enjoyed the same restaurant in grants pass, but the quality is much lower her. Our taco pizza came with sausage on it? Really loud with kids arcades and tvs with sports. It’s like Chuck E Cheese only it serves beer. Oh, kids sized/​priced drinks are for kids under 6 only… but this isn’t advertised, so we ended up with adult priced sodas.

Great Pizza, Awesome Chicken and Chips, and tasty craft beers on tap. Small arcade area my kids loved, and handicap access for my dad with a large dining area make this place top notch. Really good and friendly service. Grabed a growler of IPA to take back to central oregon with me. I will definetly be back next time I am in brookings.

Have been to the Brookings location several times and the Medford a couple times both serve a great tasting «Spirit of America» pizza…

Love this place! I’m from Cali so when I visited my cousin she took me here. We got a large veggie pizza with the potato chips and it was soo good! I always crave wild river pizza! If it was closer to San Francisco I’d definitely be a regular!

Always great pizza and the wait time is not to bad. We go here when ever I come to visit :-)

So this is more like 4.5 stars the pizza was pretty good the blt was freaking amazing we had to go orders and got home realized we didn’t get the ranch we paid for that’s the star knock off all n all we will probably return thanks

I enjoyed my bbq chicken pizza with bacon added but I really came here for the beer. You would never know it by the looks of it but this place has their own line of awesome micro-​brews on tap. Don’t leave here before you try their ESB.

Pizza sub par, wouldn’t even finish eating it.
