I wanted to like it, but just couldn’t. The staff is constantly picking up and putting away toys that are being used by kids, so I spend half my time there trying to find the toy we just had before a meltdown ensues. The other half is spent playing with my daughter and trying to squeeze into the kid chairs. When we went several toys(train) weren’t working and priority was given to the kids in the birthday party who had first choice at everything. We paid to play too and ended up leaving when the madhouse of the party flooded onto the floor

I want to first say that I am a long time fan of Tot Town, and had my son’s 2nd birthday party there, which was fantastic. I’m always impressed with how clean and bright the facilities are, and my son loves going there. Recently, I had my son’s 3rd birthday party there. Typically the entire party lasts 2 hours, with about an hour and fifteen minutes for play, and 45 minutes for pizza, cake, and favors(at least, this is what it was last year). After about an hour and five minutes, the pizza arrived and the kids were asked to come to the party room. They ate and grabbed favors, and we were the last to leave at 11:45, basically because there was nothing else to do in the party room; everyone had eaten(our party was from 10 – 12). When I spoke to the owner, she advised that the pizza came early and we ate fairly quickly. Not my favorite answer. What also upset me was that at 11:40, she was setting up for a different party in the same party room we were in. Luckily, my child is too young to notice, but I didn’t appreciate all his decorations being taken away for the next child while we had that room booked. I realize these may be petty things, but 15 – 20 minutes makes a big difference when your party is only 2 hours. The other parents also noticed the time was cut short and that they were setting up for a new party. I’m sure I will continue to bring my son in for open play(I do love that they are now open on the weekends from 3:30 — 6:30), but I don’t think I’ll be booking another party there. Just an FYI to those that are booking parties; make sure you are clear that you want the most play time you can get!

I just took my 8 month old for the open play time during the week. There is a special gated area for crawlers only that he enjoyed, but he also was allowed to crawl around the rest of the play areas with my supervision, of course, and he loved that even more. They have free coffee and tea, free wifi and several couches all around the perimeter of the play area. This is heaven for stay at home parents who are in need of a little interaction and a nice, safe area for their kids to explore while they relax. Update: coffee is now $ 1

We just recently held my son’s 2nd birthday here, and days later my wife and I are still talking about how impressed we were. Even our guests wrote us emails thanking us for the fun time. The place is amazing. It’s full of all the fun toys you’d never in your right mind bring into your house, like a working camp site and 5 different slides. The entire room is broken into little play areas like a vet’s office, a supermarket with little toy veggies and a working cash register, a little apartment with a tiny little Dyson, a crawlers area, a dress up area, a real-looking salon. The list goes on and on and on … What my wife and I couldn’t get over, is how big the place was, how much the kids lost their minds with having fun … and how CLEAN the place was. As we were leaving, I saw the woman who run’s the place STEAMING every single toy before she left. This place isn’t just clean, it’s downright sterile! Also — 2 huge bathrooms with every kid-and-diaper-friendly amenity you could imagine. We arrived an hour before our party started and the employees help us set up. They even had a little cart for everybody to put presents in, so we could wheel them to our car at the end of the night. When people arrived, the employees greeted every one of our guests. Then … bless them … they just stayed out of the way for 2 hours until the food arrived. Then the lady who runs the place just handed out pizza, making sure their were tiny pieces cut for the toddlers. They thought of everything, and the pizza was delicious. We took some home and had the leftovers for lunch the next day! Point is … we loved this place. We’d easily have another birthday there, and recommend our friends do so, too. The price is right, they decorate and take care of the food, they help you down to the smallest detail and they’re super nice. It’s a no-brainer. If you have a small child 2 – 5, this is THEPLACE to have a fun party with friends!
