I really like this store. This is one of the better stores I have been in. The last time I was in a Tj Maxx. Everything was kind of trashy and thrown around with a horrible selection to choose from. I walked in and within minutes thought I was in heaven, I also found plenty of really nice things that were marked down for really far prices. Anything from socks, to a really nice Marquette University jacket from Jordan marked down from $ 80.00 to $ 35.00. That’s incredible. I also like to cook, and once I found myself in the section with all the different high end spices for cheap it was over. Would definitely come here again :)

I’m just not Maxx-inista material. We stopped here because my suitcase finally crapped out after 8 – 9 years of heavy use and Maxx always has random things like luggage for cheap. In fact, they had a pretty good selection of suitcases, and decent brands too — lots of Samsonite, but some Delseys and a TravelPro too. Just not specifically what I was looking for. On the clothes/shoes side of things — ehhh… not so much. Everything is kind of jumbly and messy and the brands really aren’t very good. I’m sure there are some gems from time to time, but I don’t really have the patience to dig through racks of three-seasons-ago acrylic sweaters to find them. Staff here couldn’t be more disinterested if they were having a contest on job dissatisfaction. Honestly, in the realm of discounters — Marshalls has better home stuff and Burlington seems to have a wider selection of apparel/shoes. Maxx just kind of falls in the middle. Because the store is kind of grubby, it reminds me of a thrift store with higher price tags.
