I tried this studio after noticing that Lyn Kehoe from Buddhi Mat in Ridgefield had moved there. I’m so glad I made the trek! Power Vinyasa with Ann Monaghan was a wonderful class with a strong, beautiful flow. I would venture to say the class might have been a little challenging for very new beginners, but Ann gave lots of options for modifications for newer or more advanced(in terms of asana) practitioners. If you are new to yoga(and are not familiar with the sanskrit names for poses), I would recommend placing your mat in a place where you can see other students, as Ann did not demonstrate. I also found the temperature and humidity in the studio to be ideal for my preferences(on the warmer end of hot yoga, but a little shy of bikram conditions) and thought the practice room was clean and peaceful.

After moving to Danbury about a year ago and trying pretty much every studio in the area without much luck, I finally tried Manipura and I’m SO glad I did. The studio is clean and comfortable; and the instructors are very friendly and helpful. There are lots of classes throughout the day, which are heated and well-suited for all levels — and often offer a more challenging practice(which I like). I just wish there was a little more variety with poses and sequencing, but overall the classes are awesome. They also have a bunch of workshops. I attended an inversion workshop with Aaron and it was great!

I am a exercise person and have done yoga but this place claim ALL classes 4 all levels is just not true not only do they go way to fast but no instruction or pose help or feedback is given, very packed, no wAter breaks and they have strong scents In the room which i do not like at all, never go back after 2 visits

Not only is the studio so clean and welcoming the classes are great. I enjoy the sunrise yoga at 6am with Aaron at least 3 days during the weekday and then I try to make a couple classes over the weekend. All of the classes are in a heated room and every instructor teaches in their own way. They have a great 2 week $ 25 special that cannot be beat anywhere and compared to hot yoga/bikram places around they are reasonably priced, clean, and offer a great variety of class times.

A heated studio that is just enough to melt the muscles but not so hot that you can’t breathe. I enjoyed the Power Vinyasa Flow with Deidre Americo that incorporated many of the traditional Ashtanga style postures with a flowing unique style. They have a first class special which makes it the best first choice among local yoga studios. I was pleasantly surprised with everything. Note: It’s a little difficult to find once you are in the parking lot. Just drive around to the back of the building and that is where the door is located.
