I’m going to give this location a 2 star review because one bad experience wipes away 20 good ones. They don’t care about ingredients. I opened up my sandwich today and found browning old lettuce. Here’s a picture. Also wen I grabbed the sandwich I could tell it was a little under filled. I got the country club #11 as usual and I’m just bummed. Make it right, for me and for future customers — give me an opportunity to write a better review.

All the buzz at work today was that JJ has customer appreciation day and from 11 to 3 was $ 1 subs so I thought I would give them another chance with fresh eyes. And as the first time I was under whelmed by the lack of excitement from the #5 Vito. It looked visually good but came up short on flavor and was just a gut filler. The bread is wonderful and fresh and the vegys to meat/bread % sucked because the sandwich tasted like bread and lettuce for the most part. The meat/cheese was razor thin, see my pictures. The balance is all off with so little meat/cheese to compete with the massive bread and lettuce. Overall I just can’t do JJ when there is better options out there for flavor and quality. This just doesn’t work for me, so I’m going to pass on them.

Refuse to deliver to me. I live just over the cross street the use as a delivery boundary. They tell me every time to call s location 20 miles away. I now call Toppers I tell them to wave or flip the bird as they Drive past JJ location on the way to my house. They were so rude about this delivery issue. I refuse to patronize ever again.

I called to place a delivery order to an office building 1.75 miles from this location. I was told they can not deliver to the location because of a corporate policy, and that the farthest south they could deliver was Center St. 1.75 miles! The next closest Jimmy Johns was 2.5 miles and could not deliver either. I have never heard of such a stupid policy in my life. Not sure this location deserves the rating but what a moronic idea.

According to Unilocal this location is 2 miles away. I called to place a pretty large order which would be totally worth their 2 mile drive and they said they don’t deliver to my address. I guarantee they deliver 2 miles towards Brookfield! Too bad because I’m a great tipper…

I typically like Jimmy John their service I quick and inexpensive. But I notice that this particular one does not offer sprouts like some of the others. The sandwich I had was good as normal. Because they try to be fast they sometimes jump the gun. When I started to place my order the automatically assume that I wanted it on their traditional French Bread so they started on that until the realize it was an unwich(no bread sandwich). I felt bad that they wasted bread on simple mistake because urgency. I also noticed that they had to stations set up for a large crowd which was nice. The reason I give it three stars is because they forget to give you your change every or if they do it is in correct every once in a while(be aware of this). Attention to detail is must.

I hit this Jimmy Johns often as it is nearby my workplace. It’s fast, very friendly and consistently good. My favorite is the multigrain bread with my vegetarian sandwich. My kids love it as well. The restaurant is always clean with plenty of seating. Easy to get to location.

Jimmy Johns always have the freshest subs. Their service is extremely fast. I usually go to the one at 124th and Capital. Always clean. They do an extra special job at keeping the place spotless. Been to other ones and they are pretty much a carbon copy. Have to complaints whatsoever.

I just experienced perhaps the worst customer service I have ever encountered at this particular Jimmy Johns. After battling 20 minutes of construction traffic on a one mile stretch of Capitol Dr, I pulled up to Jimmy Johns with an unfiltered yearning for a #17, jimmy chips and a Coke/Dr.Pepper mix and a #16 for my mom. I hadn’t eaten lunch and I knew JJs was just the kind of college student food I needed to satisfy my cold cuts craving. JJ’s sandwich makers are quick, but their ordering process is painfully slow and interrogative. The dude must have asked me fifty questions; by the time he asked me how I wanted my pickle sliced, my sandwiches must have already been made. Of course, I didn’t even notice the guy put my sandwiches on the counter. Now, I knew something was wrong when a few minutes had passed and my #17 had not been called out yet. After sniffing around the counter, I noticed a few sandwiches sitting around, and a couple of sandwiches in a paper bag. There was no real clear label on the bag… no slip… no number. But I assumed since there were 2 sandwiches in a bag, and the only other option was a few other independent sandwiches lying around, I went with my gut and grabbed the bag. I asked the sandwich maker if this was my 16/17, but he was more focused on asking me how I wanted my pickle sliced(that still sounds so wrong). So off I went, battling another 25 minutes of traffic. I hate tuna. Tuna is quite possibly the only thing in this world I wont eat(and I’ve eaten my share of pencil erasers and bugs as a kid). When I opened up my sandwich and was greeted by a foul smelling fish scent, I knew something was wrong. I grabbed the wrong sandwiches. Now, I am not saying that was Jimmy Johns fault. I clearly picked up the wrong sandwiches. It was an honest mistake, but really, I wouldn’t have made it if their pick-up counter was a little less confusing. After all, when there are 4 or 5 sandwiches sitting up there, how am I supposed to know which one is mine?! I called up the store. I explained to them the situation, and the guy seemed really cool about it. I asked him if I could come tomorrow and get a refund and he said its worth a shot. So the next day, I drove back to the store with the 2 tuna subs and asked for a refund. The first guy seemed cool, but he had to clear it with his manager. The manager. Let me tell you about the manager. Honestly, I wouldn’t be writing this review if it wasn’t for her. I understand it was partially my fault for picking up the wrong sandwiches, but I was honestly so surprised how rude she was. I forgot her name(unfortunately). Maybe it was Clarrisa… something with a C maybe. She walked up to me and I calmly(and nervously) explained the situation. I told her that I ordered 2 sandwiches yesterday and I did not receive them. She replied by explaining that I took their delivery bag instead of my order. I asked her if I could get a refund or at least a credit… as I would expect most corporate restaurants to do if I received the wrong food. She responded by essentially blaming everything on me. She told me that I was the one who picked the wrong sandwiches, and therefore she couldn’t give me a refund. I explained to her that it is confusing that they would place the delivery up on the same counter as the carry out food. She said: «I always put the deliveries up on the counters. Thats where we put them. Its not our fault you took the wrong sandwiches.» She said the best thing she could offer was to remake the sandwiches. Since I already had eaten lunch, after a while of arguing she told me she could offer me credit. I really just wanted my money back, but I counted my losses and took the credit. She then said«I’m going to need the sandwiches back.» I passed her the day-old tuna and she walked across the kitchen and slammed the chips on the counter and the sandwiches in the trash. She seemed pissed… I even tried to lighten the mood by telling her«That’s okay, its tuna… not a huge fan.» She grabbed a ratty old piece of paper(maybe the back of a work schedule?) and scribbled down my name and phone number. I told her I really appreciate her doing this, but she didn’t say a word. After she wrote down my name, I thanked her. Of course she responed with a «yup» and forcefully walked away.

This is a good Jimmy John’s right on the border of Wauwatosa & Brookfield. Decent sized parking lot, friendly workers, plenty of seating inside, and of course the signature Jimmy John sandwiches and my personal favorite Unwiches.
