The service was impeccable by our waiter Matt, however one of our party asked for medium on her cajun hanger steak and it was very rare. Another one of our party ordered Chilean sea bass and it was a very small portion for the money. The loaded baked potato was good but not enough for $ 11.00. My filet was a bit over done for medium rare but still tasty. The bartender and the wait staff were very attentive. It was my 19th wedding anniversary and so a special treat with friends but some disappointments for such a special day.

Okay place. Kind of dimly lit. Service is good. I thought meals a bit pricey especially for a-la-cart but then I haven’t gone out for fillet minion in a long time. My medium well ordered steak was actually well done and a bit chewy. My daughter really liked her medium well fillet from the children’s menu(a bargain for $ 15 for steak and fries) We enjoyed the warm bread appetizer and the lava cake dessert They gave me a gift card for my birthday and small box of chocolates Next time though I go out for steak which may be over a year from now, I will likely explore other places

What a wonderful experience! My husband made the reservation for our anniversary and was fabulous from start to finish. We were greeted by name & they even had an anniversary card for us. Our server Ann Marie was superb from her recommendations, her attention to details, the timing of everything was wonderful and it was all delicious! We both had filet & lobster cooked spot on & delicious. We shared the lava cake which was the best I ever had. Then when it was all over, Ann Marie surprised us with a little box of truffles! We felt very special & celebrated! Thank you Flemings

Asked for two steaks well done. Both came out pink and asked for a replacement side which also came out wrong. Then the server spilled sauce on my suit pants. Expected more from that expensive of a restaurant…

This is an all around excellent restaurant. When you walk in you will be greeted immediately and given the option of black or white linen. The service from the wait staff to the Management is top notch in the area. The restaurant is clean, the bathrooms are clean, the plates come out hot, the food quality for both main course and side dishes are excellent. If you want to go out, and have a steak that is worth the price this is the place to go. Save room for desert because the first few times I had tried this restaurant I opted out of the lava cake, one night my girlfriend and I went here just for the lava cake and some beers. It was worth it. I have saved room for desert every time ever since.

So my fiancé got a gift card from this location last Christmas for a family member, and when it was finally used for the first time last week, there was apparently no money on the card. My fiancé then contacted headquarters to resolve this issue, and they came back and said that the card was bought from Costco 2 years ago! Uhh… No we didn’t. And when he asked for a phone number they can give to be reached at… No response. I’ve never ate here or at any other location, but, in general, this just gives me a really bad impression of customer service at headquarters which pretty much leads to each individual restaurant.

Not impressed at all. French onion soup was average, onion rings were oven baked and not fried(tasted very plain) and the filet was also very average. The restaurant itself is really nice and the service was good but the food — very mediocre and not at all worth the price.

Everything else was great! What does that mean? That means the sides were great: loaded baked potato — great, mac and cheese, my glass of wine — both great, bottle of beer — great,(but how can you screw up a bottle of beer?). Our steakes and prime rib were weak, my scallops were tiny and overcooked. We sent the prime rib back, second portion was cooked better but way more fatty. Our son had the children’s steak, I needed a solid steak knife to tear through the meat. It should have been tender. We were their on a Sunday as guests for a family birthday dinner. If we weren’t there as guests, we would have sent more of our meals back. Desserts were very good, we had the chocolate molten cake and sherbert. The staff was very professional and accommodating. Would not return because of the quality of meat at $ 40+ per plate.

Nice setting but was a little disappointed with my steak size. Bill was over $ 150 and I just didn’t feel as if the food was worth the cost. Under seasoned food and the drinks were weak. Was a new place to try but won’t be returning.

Wife & I dined here on a weekend evening recently to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We were prompted greeted and seated — without a wait(we had a reservation). That is always a plus — at many restaurants I’ve had to wait or forced to sit in bar despite having a reservation. Not tonite — seated at a nice booth very quickly. Ordered adult beverages and they were served very cold +++ while we reviewed the menu. We were brought fresh bread and spreads — both were good. Started with salads — both salads were very fresh and flavorful. Although I think both could have used a touch more dressing. Entrees — both steaks were cooked to our liking but mine had some sort of flavored seasoning crust on it that I was not aware of when I ordered and I did not care for and as a result did not finish. Steaks were aged well. Onion rings were the thick type which often are undercooked and soggy but these were thoroughly cooked and hot! Desert & coffee went well. Service was excellent. So dinner for 2 with tip was just under $ 200. For that cost service and food needs to be excellent — which it was(except for flavored crust on steak). Would I return — yes.

Brookfield, Wisconsin a fairly sterile suburb of Milwaukee, has been smothered in chain restaurants and strip malls. Anchoring the parking lot of a ubiquitous mall, Flemings would be a cookie cutter steak chain, matching that sterility, if it wasn’t for the warmth and charm of the staff. Don’t get me wrong, the food is good, but no different then what would be served at the countless steak joint twins around the country. We always sit at the bar, and Andy, the marvelously attuned bartender, remembers our name, makes individually directed wine choices for us, and directs our order to the kitchen. Our food comes out the way we like it. This makes Flemings stand out. It’s Wisconsin friendly, making the homogenized outside disappear for a time. Fleming’s Brookfield always comes through.

We went here to celebrate our anniversary. We made reservations online for a Saturday and were seated immediately upon arriving. They knew we were celebrating and went above and beyond to make it special for us… free chocolates and a card signed by all the workers! Our steaks were really tasty and cooked to perfection. Our waiter made lots of good recommendations when asked. I recommend the Carmel turtle pie… yummmm.

The objective was to experience pure excellence in food, ambiance and service. Fleming’s did a stellar job! The food was just as good as my last visit. Since the four of us drank & grazed during happy hour, we decided on sharing a couple steak entrees, two salads & a side dish. Heirloom Tomato & Beet Salad, Modern Caesar(loved the crisp prosciutto chips) & sautéed string beans(a little overcooked with no crunch while lacking flavor) We ordered a nice bottle of red to compliment our fine fare. For steaks, we all shared the main filet mignon and dry-aged prime ribeye medium rare. Both were cooked to perfection, juicy and flavorful. Three our of four of us preferred the dry aged over the filet. To make things more exciting, we added steak companions too. Truffle Poached Lobster with béarnaise sauce and caviar and King crab with herb butter. Absolutely delicious and full of flavor! Our server knew his stuff. But, very robotic and curt about it. He even pitched dessert on us before we ordered our main course, mentioning a dish that should be ordered 20 minutes in advance to avoid await after our entrees

First, the service was quite good. The food though, was absolutely terrible. We had a large party, but it was a weekday and very early. Our main dishes took nearly two and a half hours to arrive. Three people, myself included, ordered the filet with shrimp. All three were ordered medium. One was close, one was closer to meduim well on the way to well done, and the final one was mooing it was so raw. The steaks had no flavor and were so dry. This is the type of steak you would expect to get from an Applebees. The shrimp tasted like they were cooked in a microwave on high for five mins. Another great point, one of the guest got home to see their left over steak, not the filet, had been thrown away and given a doggy bag with just asparagus. I was very excited to try this place, but i will never go back. $ 50 for a flavorless steak they can’t cook right? No thanks.

This is a great place. Came back for some great food and drinks and even though it’s been a long time people remember who we were. That’s the kind of service you get at Flemings.

More than just a piece of meat [laughter ensues] If anyone rates this place less than a 4-star they need to come back and try it again! During my time at Fleming’s everything was above average and nothing went unnoticed by the staff. Not only does Fleming’s have excellent service, the food is incredible and the atmosphere was perfect for an intimate gathering. Let’s cut to the steak… Libations, the beer selection was on the average side, but the wine selection offered anything from a pinot noir to a $ 450 bottle of champagne. Food, though things are on the pricey side you will have an explosion of flavors in your mouth and they don’t skimp on portions. Keep in mind, if you’re not that hungry, you should opt for ordering a «small» plate. The small plates are still a considerable amount of food for much cheaper. I recommend getting the Caesar Salad. IMO it was to die for. Everything about it was above and beyond your standard Caesar Salad, plus if you are a bacon lover this if for you… they add bacon to this bad boy! Along with the salad, the Dry Aged Prime Ribeye is a recommendation and a favorite for all. This was cut to perfect and cooked EXACTLY how I like my meat – the rarest of rares, I swear it was still mooing(but it in a good way). This slice of meat was incredible and I am still dreaming about it. Overall, the staff was accommodating, the food is out of this world and the atmosphere is perfect for any types of gatherings from a business dinner, holiday party to a date night even a family celebration. When you hankering change, a good slice of meat and something in the Brookfield area check out Fleming’s!

Steaks always good and cooked to perfection. Service is alway fantastic. The new bar menu has a lot to offer with very good price. Even as a chain restaurant, they offer consistent, confident dishes with friendly services(how many chain restaurant would call you by your last name? not even in most of the local restaurants!) You can not go wrong if you are the carnivore!

I’ve eaten here probably a half-dozen times since originally posting. Each time has been for their happy hour. This is one of the best happy hours in the area people! For $ 6, a big, quality burger and fries. Or any of the other options which include pork belly, shrimp, or ravioli. $ 3 beers. $ 6 cocktails and wine. Do yourself a favor and get to the ‘burbs if you are frugal(which you probably are living in Wisconsin) and like a good meal.

I had the filet and it was cooked perfectly, but after ordering sides and salad and a couple drinks our bill for two was far north of $ 150. It was good, but not that good. The atmosphere and music are very good. Wine list extremely over priced. I would rather spend this amount of money at an independent restaurant, not a chain.
