I’m new to biking and I stopped in to hopefully buy gloves. There were no staff around so I found my way to the gloves and started browsing. There was a customer there complaining to himself about what he was being charged for tires, and how they weren’t right anyway. I assumed he was just crabby and kept browsing. At this point a young man came in and asked the staffer for something to be put on to his bike. The staffer questioned him rudely as to why he wanted it there. The young man inquired to why he was suggesting it in a different spot and the staffer snapped back «fine, I’ll just put it where you want it.» At this point I left, I felt super uncomfortable given the fact the I am new to biking and don’t know enough to possibly be treated with respect at this store. I’ll find a store more welcoming.

This place has been around forever, and I never stopped by until I found out they carry Cannondale bikes (very shallow of me, I know). I went in with the exact model I wanted. The owner and I flipped through the Cannondale book to make sure all was good with availability, placed a down payment, and waited impatiently for my bike to arrive. When I took my bike back for the 200 mile tune up, the staff was very knowledgeable about how to care for bikes, and took the initiative to shorten my handle bars without me suggesting. And they were definitely right, it rides so much better now. Very happy with my purchase, and I will return for future bike care/​tune ups!
