If you’re having a baby — this is probably the place you want to be. They seem to have absolutely everything you could ever want for a baby/toddler. I’ve spent my fair share of time here buying for baby showers and it’s always been a pleasant experience. The one critique is that everything is so crammed in there that sometimes it’s hard to find things if you’re not the only person in the aisle.

Finding out we were having a baby was an intimidating thing. Then I walked into this store. Huge with baby stuff everywhere, I found it difficult to navigate that day as my wife and I clicked away our scanners for our registry. One year later, I can’t imagine life without this store. This isn’t your dinky, half babies r us/half toys r us. This is a complete one stop shop for any and all baby needs. Baby food. Baby toiletries. Diapers. Strollers. Car Seats. Baby clothes. Toys. Bedding. Cribs. Anything you can think of, they have it. Everything is well organized, well categorized and easy to find. Their prices are cheap. My big sis goes down the street to their rival, so just to compare I went down their to see their prices, only to find out they charge a couple bucks more on just about everything. Coupons are easy to find, just join their mailing list or hunt them down on the Internet. You can almost always find a 20% coupon. The staff is more than helpful, if you can’t find something they’re pretty easy to hunt down and eager to please. Lines at the registers can get backed up once in a while, that’s my only complaint. Having a baby? Have a baby or a toddler? This is your place.

I’ll admit that registering for my wedding was a lot easier than registering for the arrival of our little one. So many products, so many different brands, it’s all overwhelming. On a Sunday, I came here with my dad. Yeah, he took one of for the team, but going with me instead of my husband working while visiting the fam. So, we trekked over to Babies R’ Us to finish my registry. Upon entering the store, it’s huge. One store devoted solely to cribs, strollers, gliders and everything under the sun for a baby. We received the registry gun at the entrance and got started. They smartly have water bottles available for those registering. Since I did a fair amount of registering online, I double checked products in the store as well as register for others. For instance, it helped to see the Pack N’ Play I registered for in person than online. One of our main reasons for the visit was to find a glider and test it out. Sitting in gliders was a nice respite after walking around looking at thousands of products. We found one that suits our space. However, it wasn’t in stock pretty much anywhere nearby. The sales associates were super helpful in making sure that we would connect with the glider in the future. They definitely went out of their way to help us. After a month of their hard work, the glider has been located and purchased. Overall, Babies R’ Us is a great store. It’s huge and a little overwhelming. The nice, helpful staff made the experience a little less daunting. I would definitely say to come to the store with a plan in mind or even a definite list of what you’re planning to look at or you’ll be sucked in the vortex of all baby products.
