Please do yourself and your pet a favor and skip this place.
I have seen the owner get into arguments with other customers– she just picks fights for no reason and she is really like talking to a brick wall.
She is so extremely unprofessional that she has called me to pick up dogs that dont belong to me because my phone number is on their chart. and actually asks «are you sure this isnt your dog?» yes, Im pretty sure my dog didnt hop on the BX12 and head over to your shop for a trim.
she never answers the phone, and if you leave a message– she’ll only call you back if it is about making an appt ($$$). not if you have a question or anything like that.
she will do anything for the money. I brought my dog in the week of easter for a brush out and bath– he had a few mats which were in their beginning stages and I thought she’d be able to comb through. Only once I came to pick him up and paid for him, she told me he needs to be shaved because of his mats. Groomer’s first rule of thumb is to never bathe a dog if he has mats… why didnt she call me about this before making him worse? Ill tell you why: to get more $$$. because that equals 2 visits instead of 1.
I’m going back to my original groomer down in Manhattan. Some trips out of the bronx are worth it, this is one of them.
