Venice Pizzeria & Restaurant

I’ve lived across this place for years and every time I have to go to the supermarket next door I have to hold my nose. This place smells so bad it makes me want to vomit. It makes no sense I would never want to eat from here and never have. I rather go to Jerry’s which is down the block and has the best pizza. Best of luck of anyone who eats from here I’ll be praying for you.

My friend tells me «there’s a great spot by your house, try it» So I look it up and see great reviews and figured, why not! The lady on the phone was very pleasant, the order came super quick. Lasagne and baked stuffed shells with chicken and garlic bread with cheese, ohhhh myyy all yummmyy! Def a place I will order from again. Funny thing is they are Asian! Who knew! Thx to my friend for the recommendation! Great dinner!

Awesome tasting food and large portion. Fairly priced. Menu selection is large. Delivery is always fast and your address is kept to speed delivery process next time.

Believe it or not ladies & gentlemen, the best Italian place in the Bronx is owned by Asians. Slowly but surely, we are taking over the world.
Maybe «Italian place» is a bit of a stretch. But we all know one of life’s little secrets: That Mexicans make the best pizza. And here I present to you, the working man’s Chicken Parmigiana Hero. I say ‘working man’ because it is not meant to be served on a plate. It is on-​the-​go, tin-​foiled, crispy, creamy, goodness. You eat the first half and you’re suddenly transported to an umami dimension. You eat the second half and you’re back in real life, sad because you finished your sandwich.
I’ll admit, it’s seen better days. But you can blame the fat cats on Wall St. for all of the economy’s cutbacks. Hell, even blame them for the lower quality in animé because that dragged out season of One Piece is a direct result in lower wages for animators. Thank you Wall St. fatties for making my life more miserable in ways I didn’t foresee.
Chicken not your fancy? You want seafood, you say? They got just the thing! Shrimp parmegiana! I know. You don’t need to thank me. I won’t stop you if you do though. And no, they’re not stingy with the shrimp. That’s a beautiful thing about the ghetto; they just pile on the goodness. Seriously, the more ghetto the neighborhood, the better the fast food.
The Chicken Parmigiana is so good, I nicknamed my ex after it. (That explains why I’ve been capitalizing it).
Oh yeah, I forgot. The slices are good too.

By far… The Best Pizza I Have Had In A Loooooooooooooooooooong Time !!

I have been eating at Venice for over 15 years. It always been clean, great staff and delicious food. My family and I are moving soon and I will definitely miss this place! I love that they offer fresh delicious healthy options like salads. Try it and you will love it, great delivery service also.

This place is definitely a favorite local spot amongst friends. Great prices and portions. Buffalo/​hot wings are great, along with mozzarella sticks as appetizers. Great pizza spot for a quick delivery, and they accept credit cards. Will definitely go back to try the shrimp salad everyone has been raving about.

There are a variety of things I could say, and too a variety of things you could try at Venice. But I’ll start by saying this… They’re Grrrrrrreat! Ultra reasonable prices! Delicious food, from their buttery pepperoni and cheese garlic bread, to their mozzarella sticks with marinara, from their $ 5 chicken parm accompanied with a $ 3.50 hefty garden salad, you’ve achieved a perfectly healthy gut satisfyingly fabulous lunch all under $ 9! They also have the best tasty hamburger pizza of all! The best salads of all! Our favorite is the fried chicken salad topped with mozzarella cheese, and we order plenty of ranch dressing. Love, love their chocolate mousse cake, and cheese cake! And I do enjoy their fruit cup, especially when the fruit is in season. And of course, they have speedy delivery! Try them!
Only one point of contention. Every once in a blue moon the delivery guy may be a bit too shy to come up to an intimidating building, so you may receive a call to come out, which I don’t particularly care for. But he does somehow muster up the courage to give you your order. I still do recommend.

I’ve been eating at this fine 5 STAR Restaurant for over 20 years now. They call me HAMMER lol. The Asian girls that work there are very pretty; my friend Jimmy and Jimmy father as I call his father. The tables and chairs are new and the service is good. THE FOOD IS DELICIOUS, my favorite are the $ 5.00 Specials, shrimp, Sausage, Chicken, Meatball and Eggplant Parm. 5 STAR XXXXX

I can’t say anything wrong about this little hole in a wall spot. This place has amazing shrimp parm heroes and shrimp parm with spaghetti. And they are not cheap at all with the portions its just amazing how you don’t have to pay that much for an excellent dish. I don’t ever eat inside I always order for pick up and the owners are very friendly everyone in the neighborhood goes there for there shrimp or chicken parm dishes. They also make some really good breakfast sandwiches. I always here about people raving about their pizza I had it once I wasn’t that thrilled with it. I really liked Jerry’s pizzeria down the block way more. But this place makes excellent Italian dishes and this is the reason why I go there for their parm dishes.

The pizza is average nothing to rave about. However, I do like their grilled chicken salads, baked ziti and garlic bread, It is a local pizza shop that is doable for a quick bite for lunch or take out.

Pros:
–Delivery was speedy, recieved order within 30 minutes of placing it.
Cons:
–Woman taking orders was quite rude and lacked knowledge of their menu
–The Pizza was awfully bland and did not stand out in any way, tasted like a warm soggy napkin in tomato sauce.

I personally don’t like their pizza. It doesn’t taste like NY pizza at all. I do love their shrimp parm and their bakes zitti but they so light on the sauce. It’s basically dry and even when I ask them to add more sauce they don’t add enough :/​Their italian salad dressing is really good. Closed on Mondays.

The only place in Parkchester that I order pizza from. The prices are fair, delivery service is awesome.

I like their sandwiches. but they take too long to deliver. They need to put a bit more sauce in their pasta bc it’s way too dry.

The Best Pizza In the Bronx — I’ve been to quite a few pizza shops around and know that these guys have quality that you want in pizza and their entire menu. It is truly amazing — and at first i wouldn’t have thought these guys had any clue what they were doing.
I was floored, try it out and check it out.

THAT good.

I’ve been going to this place since I was born probably. The Asian lady that works there still looks the same and you always have this tomato sauce aroma when you walk up the block. I would always be excited to go there after school when I was a toddler and just holding their hot yet perfectly elastic slice, made my mouth watery!

I live on the block, so I’m a regular the service is AMAZING the food is GENIUS the cheesecake is DELISH, that’s the only thing not made on the premises i believe
I always get a mushroom slice, chicken Parm and u must try chicken cutlet with ranch let them know u want it cut up so u can dip in the ranch
Their chicken salad is great and hearty they deliver super quick i know half the guys that deliver great Italian food
