So I had to move from the Upper East Side all the way to Hudson Heights a few years back and the U-​Haul location that I was getting my truck from, close-​by to this one and near the 6-​train station didn’t have the necessary added equipment that I needed (dolly /​furniture pads) so I came to this place to pick them up.
The helpful staff here made my extra stop not that much of a time-​wasteful one and even instructed me how to get across the 3rd Avenue Bridge and back to Manhattan.
I wonder what this neighborhood was like back in the day before NY started to get «cleaned up».
