This is a typical old school Bronx pizza joint. Everyone knows each other by name, the pizza is always fresh, thin crust, not too much sauce, not too much cheese. Perfection. Easily one of my top 5 Bronx pizza joints!

Best pizza In the Bronx this is my go to spot for pizza how ever you like it but the plain slice is so well done it best to just go plain and well done the slices are thin and crispy small family owned and runned the people are great always welcoming makes you feel like part of the family people walking in everyone knows each other on a first name basis and the best let if it is that they are open late every day so when you get that 12, 1 o’clock craving for a slice they are open this is a must try don’t pass up on some Tommys

Nothing special about this place, way too much cheese, it looks like pizza soup. The calzones look like pancakes, very bland and boring.

No gimmicks or frills – just plain old NY pizza. I love Tommy’s; sauce and cheese are great and the crust is always not too thick or thin. I always look forward to this place when I’m in town.

I’m a thin Crust Coal Oven Pizza connoisseur! This pizza is delicious. The crust is on point. I was really impressed with the flavors I was experiencing. Btw: it’s not thin crust, nor coal oven but it was awesome. This pizza represent true New York Style Pizza!!! yay Tommy!!!

This is my favorite pizza in New York City. The staff is kind, and Tommy himself cooks the pizzas. The delivery staff is generally very fast, but there have been rare slow days. Even the delivery drivers are nice. The pizza is always great and has a unique taste, likely from their signature cheese.

Tommy’s Pizza is everything good in the Bronx. Some days I wake up and say, «we are driving to Tommy’s for some pizza». I always order a large extra pizza pie and it’s always glorious.

A classic pizzeria that sells nothing but pizzas, patties, and calzones. The quality of the pizza is great and I love that they’re open until 1AM. I called once at 11:30 with hopes they were still open and making deliveries and they were! Delivered a pie within no more than 45 minutes

One of my go-to pizza places from the old neighborhood, great pizza by the slice or pies to-go. Like another reviewer mentioned, there’s nothing fancy about Tommy’s pizza but it’s got great flavor and they’re open late.

Classic old style pizzeria. No TVs necessary in this joint. Nothing fancy about the place just one of the top 4 pizzas I’ve eaten in my life. Tommy the owner still makes the pizza and the sauce is very nice. I love the hours of operation. BTW, The other 3 best pizzas are: Louie and Ernie’s, the old and now gone for decades, but never forgotten, Volari on castle hill and Westchester ave, totonnos on second avenue. This restraunt is under different omers now.(the original restraunt is still in Coney Island).

Best pizza I’ve had anywhere. This place has been here since I was a kid riding my bike there on east tremont. Pizza always cooked perfect and if you get delivery, it’s always on time and you will always see one of the local kids, this place should hit the 50 year mark easy!!! great job tommy!!!

I am not a big fan of pizza unless the crust is extremely thin and crispy. Tommy’s isn’t as thin and crispy as I would like, but in comparison to the other pizzerias in the neighborhood Tommy’s is my go to spot. They bake their pies on top of a dusting of corn meal to help give the pie that crunch. When I do have a craving I always order a slice with sausage. The sausages are little round balls on top of a decent amount of mozzarella and a fairly tasty sauce. I am not a big pizza connoisseur, but on the occasion when I am in the mood this is where I go.

Always looking for the perfect slice, and was in the area on business, so I decided to stop in at Tommy’s. I read previous reviews and was expecting a great slice, the problem the slice was fair. Very thin, not much flavor, and not special in any way. The service and workers there were great though, fun and attentive. I would not go out of my way to go back, but a great hang out for locals in the area.
