They have done great on all the repairs I brought there. Unfortunately the business is gone. Good luck Segundo.

My fav ankle boots were looking so bad — The stacked heels were all worn down causing the leather wraps on both heels to fray. I also had a hole near my big toe where the sole had pulled away from the leather upper. These boots were destined for the trash.
But I loved these booties so much, and I couldn’t find a comparable pair anywhere, so I decided to try and get them repaired.
I am so glad I did! They look like new boots! The hole was patched inside and you can barely tell to look at it. The heels were repaired to look like new, and the leather upper was polished up to a beautiful shine.
Altogether it cost about $ 40, and so worth it.
I wish I had taken a before photo, because you wouldn’t believe how much better they look now. Far exceeded my expecations! I am one happy girl.

Do not, Do not… DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE!!! I took a pair of boots here to get fixed as they were starting to «talk». Ya know, the front part of the boot’s sole was coming off. Whatever. Anywho, the guy stated they needed to be resoled. I took them in on a Saturday & the guy I said they would be ready that next Wednesday. Great! He gave me a price (kind of expensive for the fix but it was a quick turnaround so I though OK!) and I had the option of paying a deposit or in full. I decided to pay in full. BAD IDEA. I came back that next Saturday because that’s the only day I could return and they were not ready! Told me to come back that next Tuesday, and I return that next Saturday. STILL NOT READY!!! It took him 3 weeks to fix my boots. And when I asked for a discount because of the delay, he refused.
My boots are good however 3 weeks to resole my shoes is ridiculous. I paid them up front and had a horrible experience. That first time I returned for my boots, it took him 15 to 20 minutes just to look for them and to tell me they are not ready because he had to order the part specially from Brooklyn. BULL
Bottome Line: Go elsewhere.

My daughter had a pair of sandals that she loved, but another shoe repair shop told her to forget it, they couldn’t be repaired. She would have thrown them out, but I kept them. Brought them to Riverdale Shoe Repair, and in 2 days they were fixed, good as new, $ 5 ! Another pair of sandals also repaired good as new. Courteous, fast, reasonably priced — what else could you ask for. The only negative is that parking in the area is HORRIBLE — so be prepared to drive around for a bit. I hope this place stays in business FOREVER.

So far so good. Just moved to the area and thought I’d try out this place based on positive reviews. Personable, the owner took time to explain and show what he’d have to do where, and why. Reasonably priced — not low but not exorbitant either. TIP: He says he never asked Unilocal to put the 10% discount on here, and won’t accept it. He also took the time to hilariously explain how Unilocal hoses merchants out of money. Oh well. I have every confidence in the craftsmanship. When I pick up my shoes next week, I’ll update this if I’m disappointed.

I went in today to get some taps added to my brand new pair of Hasbeens boots. I also wanted to pick up some nubuck cleaner to keep these babies looking new. The gentleman at the counter was very helpful. He asked whether I wanted clear or black taps, and when I’d made my selection, he told me that he would have the job done in 5 minutes.
I left and came back in about 10 minutes, and they were all finished, sitting on the counter. He asked me whether I wanted spray or liquid cleaner, and explained that spray provides a more even coating. I selected spray.
The taps were $ 4!!! The cleaner set me back about $ 6, so with tax, it came to just under $ 11. Quite a bargain, in my humble opinion.
I’ll definitely be back!

Though this place is a bit out of the way for me, went in as they had a Unilocal offer going on. Great and courteous service. Took my shoes in and were ready as promised. Appreciated the fact that they gave me the options for different heels, instead of slapping them on and telling me later like other places try to do. My shoes are good as new and the Vibram heels rock! no more knee pain! Will most definitely return.

I can’t attest to this guy’s services but I can say that when I called he was so incredibly rude on the phone that I decided I didn’t care to find out more about him. Maybe he was just having a bad day… but I decided to try Chris’s Shoe Repair on 236^th Street instead. He was very helpful and did a great job re-​heeling my shoes without the attitude!
