The reviews are right about this place, the pernil is off the hook. Make sure you say yes when they ask if you want skin. White rice is really, really good too. Salad had super fresh crispy lettuce and juicy cucumber. Service was very friendly, fast to go, and they got me exactly what I wanted. This place is an absolute gem. Not a ton of room for seating, maybe 8 – 10 tables total. Couldn’t recommend more.

Pretty good food although this isn’t puertorican food it’s more of a fast food location. I had a sit down here with my wife and it was good. I loved the beans and rice. We ordered the fried chicken bits (chicharrón de pollo sin hueso) and it was pretty good. The family meal is the best deal it’s 18.99 and feeds four people. The next day the food didn’t taste as good however so try to eat it all. The waiters here weren’t very attentive and the restaurant was severely understaffed

Unassuming spot that doesn’t look like much at first BUT the food is fantastic!
We had:
Chicharron de pollo w/​arroz con gandules — perfectly seasoned
(Small) pernil — absolutely delicious
(Small) tostones — crispy and delicious. These went really well with the blended sauce they provide
Cheese empananda — fluffy, buttery, soooo good
Everything was fresh and just plain perfection. Someone in Rincon’s kitchen really cares about the food.
Service was excellent. I normally have an issue with establishments whose front end staff do not speak English and though this totally was the case, I absolutely adored the woman that took my order. She was pleasant, extremely patient and made sure that my order was correct even though there clearly was a language barrier.
Icing on the cake? Price was right! All of the afore mentioned items for a little over $ 20.
I love, love, love this spot.

I have yet to have somthing I did not like. They added natural jucies to the menu now made it the place even BETTER.

FYI — their #s (929) 222‑3240. Food is great, agree the chicharon de pollo is awesome and pernil too. The BBQ ribs are tender and delicious. Also a fan of the chicken soup. Friendly staff and they are prompt about delivery even out to mount Vernon.

The food is excellent, the service is friendly and fast. I especially loved the roasted pork (Pernil) and the fried chunks of chicken (Chicharron de pollo). The lunch and dinner specials are reasonably priced.
