Broke my glasses on a Sunday. Fortunately I had kept a pair of old hard contacts to get me through until Monday. On Monday afternoon, I walked into Pelham Parkway Vision Center with no appointment really just hoping to get one later in the week. Instead, the gal at the reception area said, «Wouldn’t you rather see the Dr. Today?» So shortly after walking in with no appointment, I completed one of the most thorough eye exams in recent memory, was fitted with a 90 day supply of contact lenses, and experienced the best in professional and friendly service from Dr. Diana and her team. You just gained a long-​term customer. Well done!

I brought my daughter here twice, and the second visit we had Dr. Ilyasova as the optometrist. She was patient and knowledgeable and took the time with my child’s exam to ensure it was done thoroughly. Great with kids. Will come back here to have an appointment with her next time.

The girls (not women, girls) who work behind the counter are consistently rude and unaware of customers that come in. Every time I come in for something, they ignore my presence. I have to wait at least 20 – 30 minutes before one of them can help me out with what I need.
The eye doctors, on the other hand, are consistently kind and helpful. If only they could hire better help for the front of the store…
