Pawz & Clawz Grooming

I had been searching for a groomer. I am a new dog owner and was nervous about the whole grooming process. I have heard/​read some awful testimonies about grooming experiences.
I knew as soon as I spoke to the woman from Pawz & Clawz, this was the place I would be sending my pup. The wait for an appointment was a bit lengthy so make sure to plan ahead. I had to wait about 2 wks for an apt. They said it was b/​c holiday time was approaching. They are a small business with great personality.
As soon as you walk in, they are welcoming and it feels cozy. Though its a bit loud they keep all the animals calm and relaxed. They came around to greet my pup and me, looked her over discussed what i wanted. I just wanted her cut short and cleaned. I basically said do whatever you need to do, it is her first grooming since I adopted her.
Parking was not an issue. They knew who I was when I came back for my pup, which was comforting. The single drawback is that, they are cash only. But hey this is only a draw back b/​c I only carry my debit card w/​me.
They called about 3 hours later, they had a packed house and they alerted me ahead of time it might be a bit longer. I came by for her and they apologized that it was so loud for her today! She looks great! Smells like a freshly powdered baby butt!!! She was perfect! And still herself, no behavioral backlashes etc, that I have heard that happen to other pups after visiting the groomers.
Even though I have heard about other groomers in the area that are cheaper, I feel they are well worth their pricing!

Thank you girls for your work on Ninja & Tiger! I’m very pleased! Though my little Tiger wasn’t as well behaved, I appreciate your effort. Will definitely be coming back again. Loved how you guys are with all the animals. Extremely friendly business.

Great job and very timely. Definitely going back for follow ups and would highly recommend to anyone in the Bronx wanting to groom their pups.
