Noisy and the staff doesn’t make attempts to decrease the noise. Studying works if you put on some earphones and drown out the noise if you can study like that. Conveniently located, however.

It’s a good resource in a neighborhood like this. I used to check out books a lot when I was a child, but now, not so much. I usually check out books during the summer. When ever I’m inside, the staff is very helpful and friendly. They will help you find the book you’re looking for and if it’s not available, you can always order it and pick it up later.
Inside, there are tables and seats for people who want to read the newspaper or books. I think the place is used a lot by local families and senior citizens. There are also computers available for people who don’t have access to one. Every month, there is at least one event like book discussion or art related project.
The NYPL system is a great resource for families and individuals who need help with the job search, health or legal issues (there are pamphlets near the front desk), or book recommendations.

Nice small library. It consists of two large rooms, has several computers, somewhat slow WIFI. There are a few regulars that show up everyday, playing chess or reading the newspaper. Gives it a nice atmosphere.

Nice little library with free Wi-​Fi. I am kind of suprised how slow the internet is there! I am now adding to my review and taking away a star because the people running this place have let it turn into a sh*t hole! People are just setting and hanging out and talking. Cell phones are ringing. The help there themselves hold very loud conversations. They need to clean this place up. this is not what a library supposed to be like. Now they let this group of guys that half of them look homeless, on drugs, or emotionally disturbed, sit and play chest. They are very rude, loud, and they make it hard to concentrate! Clean this place up!!!
