I’ve been living in this area for 5 years and this is definitely been my go to Chinese spot. When ur hungry and want food right away at ur door these guys are definitely the ones to call. Food is well cooked and decently priced. You can never go wrong with ordering from here !

One of my go-to Chinese food for home delivery. I always ask for fresh fried chicken wings. Very good. Great beef broccoli and chow fun! Deliveries can be a little slow at times(up to 40 minutes); but the food always arrives hot.

My go to for Chinese delivery. The standards are spot on: chicken with broccoli, spicy eggplant, sesame noodles, dumplings, chow fun. Well priced and fast delivery.

What a disappointment! The lady who answered the phone was friendly and the food was delivered fast; for those reasons i gift them with a lonely star. I ordered the eggplant with garlic sauce and crab ragoon. The eggplant dish was terrible, it tasted like it was made a few days ago and tasted like it was swimming in a hot pot all day. There was a very unpleasant taste to them. The«crab» ragoon really should have been titled fried crème cheese. Every single one i tried had less than a sprinkle of crab meat. I kid you not! Save your money peeps.

Since I’ve been living in the Bronx, I’ve gotten to try a lot of foods that are delivered. When I first went to New MIng Liang, it was actually not bad — I would have rated it 4 stars for the quality, quickness, and variety. However, over the past few times, the food has deteriorated. Not that I expect a lot from these fast food Chinese places, but it was a lot better when I first ate there. Stick to the lunch specials as the price and quickness can’t be beat~

Chinese takeout in the Bronx is different than Chinese food that you may be use to. In general things may be saltier, fryier, saucier. But once you realize that and be aware of what you’re ordering and what you want. things will be fine. This goes for most takeout places around here. What I can say about New Ming Liang is that they have been nice on the phone and have had quick delivery times. I’ve had success with ordering food with lots of vegetables to satisfy a «home-cooked» craving. The snow peas have been fresh and crunchy, the bean sprouts aren’t brown. And I can say that the beef chow fun is legitimately better than other nearby places(remember better is relative). Still, expect fried rice to be browner, shrimp to be saltier, and sauces to be stickier than places you would find in say flushing or la. It’s to be expected. It’s what people like around here. And sometimes if you want a nice serving of crispy hot salty and sweet general tso chicken, you know where you can find it. Basically anywhere. Including here. That said, I choose to order from here.
