M & M Deli Plus

Nice atmosphere, great sandwiches. Seriously try the sandwiches they’re awesome and the people are cool to talk to. Its a deli thats very well organized and has alot of goods.

For a NYC deli it’s pretty clean and offers a nice variety of well stocked groceries. The smoothie bar is definitely a plus with its fresh fruit offerings. The cooked food should be tended more carefully: I’ve infrequently noticed food that looked like it needed to be tossed.
The big downer is some guy who looks like the head honcho and is ALWAYS on his headset. He’s never paying enough attention when tending to customers. Frustrating when you need to catch a bus but his phone convo has his ears and mind.

This used to be a great Italian deli back in the day and was owned by a small family from Italy. Oh the Bronx will never be the same

Doesnt look like much from outside or inside but nevertheless Ideal little place for a quick sandwich. Usually have a nice assortment of hot food available for lunch. Their bread products are of the finest quality.

Great deli with great, friendly people. Their grocery section isn’t much, but the food here is pretty good. I’ve come here a few times for breakfast and I always order the same thing, which never disappoints (bacon, egg whites and swiss cheese on whole wheat toast). The home fries are drenched in oil, though, which is a big negative. I like my home fries dry.
In the mornings, it gets a little bit hectic and you can’t pay for your food while waiting for it to be cooked. Instead, you pay after, which greatly decreases efficiency and there’s always a line. The food comes out pretty quickly and the place has a very friendly atmosphere. You can often see a group of old men sitting at one of the tables and just talking and enjoying their day. Seems like a close knit group of friends.
Overall, this deli is great, had friendly people, good service. The food is pretty decent too. Have yet to try the pizza/​hot food items on display. The prices are good for the most part.
The muffins are also very big and yum!
