Lee’s Chinese Kitchen

When calling to place an order, a child answered the phone, apparently this place has two kids that answer phones and take orders. Took me 15 minutes to explain what I wanted, chicken wings with vegetable fried rice and $ 2 worth of extra broccoli. Im not blaming the child, but the owners for the unprofesiinal service. When came home I find out 2 dolllars of extra brocoli means 2 pieces of brocoli lol never coming back to this. P. S. the food is not good.

Been a resident of Riverdale for many years, and always passed this place when I take the 1 train. Surprisingly good! Their Boneless Spare ribs are delicious, and the crab ragoons are very good. Will order again.

Dearest Mr. Lee:
I apologize for not including your restaurant as a stop on my journey to find good Chinese food in the Riverdale/​Kingsbridge area of the Bronx. To be honest, I’ve passed your establishment hundreds of times, as it’s right next to the 1 train station, but due to it’s color, interior design and overall… milieu, I pu pu’d it (no pun intended) as a possible candidate for a top Far East dining destination.
It was my loss, but it will no longer be.
Your steamed vegetable dumplings are delicious (though could use some more color; perhaps spinach?). Your ginger soy sauce is liquid crack. Your rib tips are nuggets of pure gold. Your spare ribs have filled the gap that Golden Gate left, albeit a bit funny looking (why do they curl up at the end?). And your price and punctuality makes up for any of my little quibbles.

This place is awful. Its located right next to Manhattan College so it caters to drunk college students. My chicken with string bean dish was flavorless and my wife’s lo mein was loaded with salt… will not return.

I love this place. Honestly, I used to go there all the time. Now I do not live in the area anymore but still order every two months or so. I usually like to order General Tso’s Chicken combination and Fried Crab Sticks. It is to me one of the better options of a chinese spot in the Bronx
