A family friendly seafood, American diner set in a pirate, marooned on a island theme. Early morning before the start of a business day breakfast in the Bronx summons one to eat their fill. The outdoor folding signage entice me for breakfast– one egg (any style), home fries, toast with grape jelly (not butter), juice or coffee (no option for tea) for $ 4.40. Service is quick since there were very few patrons, but the vibe from the staff appears non-​connecting and dismissive. Quality of food is mediocre. The orange juice is freshly squeezed and contains lots of pulp. A business card and takeout menu are available for grabs. Both the business card and takeout menu states this business is located in Riverdale, Bronx but actually it sits in Kingsbridge, Bronx.

I just discovered this restaurant and I have been consistently impressed.
I’ve only ordered delivery… The food always arrives hot and their packaging materials are of better quality than any I’ve seen. The containers have little holes in the corner to make sure the food doesn’t get soggy.
The food is delicious and very reasonably priced. The menu is broad and has many unique items not seen elsewhere.
The delivery guys are friendly and they usually hit their delivery window. The only negative was one time I got a baked potato instead of mashed potatoes, but it happens sometimes!
All in all an excellent restaurant for delivery with a lot of choices and excellently priced food!

Today was the first and last time I’d come to this diner. My family and I had to wait to even have a hostess come «greet» us. When we were finally seated, it took over 25 minutes for anyone to even approach our table. Not even the bus boy with water glasses passed around. The waiter finally came and took our food order and said he’d be back for our drinks. It took over 15 minutes for him to come back and take our drink order! When he brought our food, it wasn’t even complete and we had to wait for him to even come to our section for us to get his attention! All in all, the food was bland, the service was horrible and the bill was high!
NEVER AGAIN!

Our favorite restaurant when we want to dine out and have a nice, cozy and relaxed ambience. Service is wonderful every time. The bread and caviar dip keeps me going back! The happy hour is amazing. Delicious drinks for just 7 bucks! Their Mexican food selection is yummy but their seafood is to die for! The Jumbo shrimp scampi with loaded mashed potatoes is great. The fried calamari and the crab cakes are great too. Try it, you’ll never go to apple bees again!

Convenient but the menu can be overwhelming if you aren’t sure what to eat. I ordered a steak sandwich which was ok, but I’ve had better from small cheaper spanish restaurants. Best item on their menu is the crab meat spread which they refer to as caviar but that is very unlikely.

Horrible horrible horrible delivery service! I ordered from this place a few times since they are open late and I don’t expect too much of a diner but when a delivery person can’t find your apartment and screams at you over the phone, curses and than hangs up in your face I would say oh hell no!!! After explaining to him about three times exactly how to get to my apt he still didn’t get it and they called me from the restaurant to ask for the apt number again (which is in the system already!) after over an hour (they said 15 – 20 min) I called to cancel the order but they didn’t bother telling the delivery guy. A few minutes later he showed up at my door. By then I already ordered from another place so I sent him away! So rude! Obviously won’t order from them again…

Terrible, they charge 3 dollars for delivery ! Which does not go to the delivery man. And I ordered waffles! And only got ONE !!! ONE waffle ! And their pizza is terrible, do not go in to dine or order from this place, they are dissapointing !!!

We live in Inwood and the one thing we lack in food is a good old fashioned dinner. I was beyond excited to try Land and Sea once a fellow Inwood resident told me about this amazing dinner. They only problem I foresaw was that it’s in Riverdale and I was convinced they where not going to deliver from the Bronx to Manhattan. But lucky for us it’s only a 10 min trip, and now we get cheese fries and amazing burgers and shakes and all the classic dinner foods in addition to amazing fish and steak entrees. The only negative is the people taking the order can’t understand what I am saying because of the language barrier. But the only mistakes are no straws for our milkshakes so at the end of the day what a first world problem.

Delicious burger, crispy fries. Perfect lunch! Cooked perfectly and fresh beef, with the little extras!

This is a good option when you’re in the mood for a diner. There is an unintentional kitschy vibe. The cocktail menu offers some charmingly retro drinks without a hint of irony.
The bottom line is that the food is tasty and I have access to Alaskan crabs legs at any time of the day or night. It’s not that I eat crab legs at 3 a.m. but I like knowing that it’s possible. The servers are friendly, attentive (and more on the ball than the biggest nearby diner which it would be unkind to name).

Probably the last time I order from them. They charge an extra $ 3 for delivery. Delivery guy wanted to haggle my wife for more tip thinking she was alone and when I showed up to the door he was a coward and said sorry and walked away.
You need to take that delivery fee off and/​or pay your workers correctly or send someone who has respect for their customers. Really what a coward haggler you guys sent. He’s lucky I’m a humble person.

Someone from land and sea defaced a note in our elevator as though that is acceptable behavior. One star. Will never eat here and you should all be ashamed. Will post a photo

I was in the mood for a «diner experience» while I was in the city and a friend brought me here.
Interesting place with a HUGE menu, lots of different things to try. Also a full bar/​drink menu.
Everything was pretty tasty and the prices were pretty reasonable (for NYC). The real highlight of the meal though, was the Cheesecake, which was absolutely phenomenal!
I’d definitely go back.

Awful… Food was nothing special. Waiter had an awful attitude, truly unamused and just seemed annoyed the whole time. The worst part was when we ordered dessert, a tres Leches cake. That cake was spoiled it tasted so sour, when the waiter came back and saw that the dessert was barely touched he never bothered to ask if there was something wrong. Overpriced, unsatisfactory service and nothing special with the food.

Space isn’t bad hostess very welcoming. Food it’s ok. The waiter too long then we waited even more to get the check. I had to get up and get him since he was too busy talking to the hostess in the front. Will I come back? Possibly not. There is another dinner a few blocks up.

Every time I order something from here it turns out being better then the last thing I ordered. I have never been inside this place or have I driven by it I came across it on grub hub. Turned out to by my favorite delivery spot. Salads are the best! Along with everything else

Ordered on seamless and got a cold burger, soggy fries, wrong sides, wrong drink. Threw everything out. Would not recommend getting a delivery from here.

Place sucks. Food used to be good. But too expensive. And the staff is rude! Will not be coming back or ordering from this place.

Their cheesecake, when fresh, is the best in NYC.
