Lacquer Room Nail Spa/ Art Gallery

The Laquer Room is a wonderful place. Claritza and her staff work extremely hard to provide their clientele with excellent service and beyond satisfactory results. I have been doing my nails for over 15 years now and I have never had someone pay so much attention to ensuring my damaged nails become healthy again. She wants the best for her clients which is why she employs those who have the same work ethic and values for their clients. I appreciate the Lacquer Room staff because satisfaction is their primary goal. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. You walk in for the first time and feel as if you’ve been going there for years. There has never been a time I’ve left feeling dissatisfied. Usually I am very particular about what colors and designs, if any, I have completed but with Clari’s talent and skill, I feel comfortable allowing her to choose. Regardless of the simplicity or intricacies, my nails are always done to perfection. Thank you Clari, Layla, Elena, and Stephanie Elena for their hard work. You are all appreciated.

Claritza is an amazing nail tech. Actually one of the best that I have found since searching, but her time management SUCKS!!! You always find talented nails techs but they can’t get it together when it comes to time.

Claritza has been good to me since day one! From the first time she did my nails I knew I was coming back. She is the ONE! She is sweet and caring… Helped me through a moment. The salon is small, quaint, and clean. She plays good music. It’s appointment only so you’re not waiting for hours to get your nails done. The ambiance is amazing. She’s conversational and friendly.
Stephanie offered to give me a pedicure and she did an amazing job at making sure I was comfortable. Always asked me if something hurt or didn’t feel right. The mixture they use for the pedicure gives you a refreshing tingly feeling.
Overall, I’ve had the best experience at Lacquer Room. They have good prices and I love it here!!!

For 8 years now I’ve gotten my nail done by Claritza! She’s made a name for herself with the time and dedication she puts in her customers. No matter if it is a manicure/​gel mani or acrylic tips, the shape and cuticle care are on point, and her designs are to die for. She can even put the cutest design on the tiniest fingers nails (my niece for example).
Her skill with nail art is one to desire!

I have been seeing Claritza for a few years now, even before she opened this particular shop. It’s very refreshing to visit a salon in the Bronx that feels like a luxurious Manhattan nail spa. Her skills are truly like no other, her nail care and shaping of acrylic tips is beyond amazing. Her prices are extremely reasonable for the level of skill your getting on the nails and nail art. I no longer really get nail art because I’m just not into when I did her designs were incomparable. Bottom line is if your into having healthy beautiful nails GO HERE!

Sad when there is good work but everything else sucks. So I had been coming to this nail salon for over 2 months. Claritza goes by appointment only however never once in the 4 times I’ve come was I ever seen on time. She would know in advanced she was runnung behind and yet never thought to email or text her clients to inform them. Once I even waited 2 hrs past my appointment time. The issue is you pay more at this type of salon then the average basically to have a set appointment time. However it’s not worth it here because small things that make the experience are not done for example my nails would be done but she doesn’t clean your cuticles, she doesn’t even put lotion on your hands after you wash them. The salon is small, nice and clean however Claritza is the only nail tech so if you need a nail repair or want a change of polish you are sometimes waiting hours or even a few days before she can do it. She promotes other services but I’ve been trying to do my lashes for over a month and the employee who does lashes and make up «always seems to be on vacation». I don’t take thats Claritza does really nice work she does but all the other issues have forced me to stop coming as well as a few of my friends. Then you try to make an appointment and her and her secretary are both scheduling so it’s always a big confusion, hassle or issues with double booking. They also both seem to lack common courtesy in the sense that I finally had enough and was nice enough to cancel my last appointment no one asked if I wanted to reschedule, if there was an issue nothing. Claritza comes with a great reputation and I guess I was highly disappointed with her shop and expected so much more.

Love Claritza & her magnificent skills with shaping every style! She is currently by appointment only and had the best variety of nail colors I have ever seen! Location is close to highway & subway stations. Parking was a bit difficult but well worth the service!
