Big difference from what I’ve seen Years ago I didn’t remember about the renovation but i’m pleased service was fast, tables and floor was clean I was very impressed with the change

Can’t front, I’m partial to Popeye’s. In fact they are my favorite chicken chain, but occasionally I like to change up to something different. That’s where KFC comes in. This location on 149th Street, right off the Hub, serves pretty decent fried chicken. The service hasn’t been slow the times I visited, nor have they ever got my order wrong. I do suggest checking your order before you step away from the window though. The only negatives I have about this location are 1) Always panhandlers, or homeless people at the door. 2) It is the most grimiest KFC in the South Bronx. It looks very dirty and unappealing from the outside, and has a dim, depressing vibe to it. Gotta deduct two stars for those reasons. I feel the Hub is a place that’s on it’s way up, and KFC should step its game up, and lead the way.

If you really want to eat at this KFC, I would advice you to do take-​out rather sit in, too dingy and dirty looking. :oP
