Unfortunately I didn’t have as good an experience with Kas. The crew was nice but they weren’t able to move a safe (which was a large part of the reason we hired them). In addition, the broke the leg off of our dining room table.
I had purchased the additional insurance prior to the move but despite multiple attempts to file a claim with the owner Ken, it was never processed and now I’m left with a broken table.
Again, the movers were very nice, hardworking guys but they didn’t come prepared to move the safe (which I had sent them pictures and dimensions of prior to the move) and like I said, the table leg broke.
I understand things break but If the owner had handled the situation better this wouldn’t be a 1 star review. Multiple calls and emails unanswered — I was basically brushed off.
In addition, I had to pay another moving company $ 750 to move the safe — they came prepared and it was out the door in less than 20 minutes.

QUALITY OF WORK They were very careful with my household goods! Especially my art collection! They took every precaution ensuring no damage!
PRICE was right in line and definitely worth the value!

Great pricing and prompt + professional service. I booked via unpakt and received confirmation phone calls after I booked and check-​ins the day before my move and the day after. The movers handled everything with care and were quick and polite.
I would definitely recommend them for a great experience that is easy on the pockets.

I recently moved in NYC and used KAS Trucking. Moving in New York is normally stressful and expensive. KAS was prompt, professional and extremely fast. Their rates were reasonable as well. Even when the management company of my old building made it very difficult for them, KAS knew exactly how to handle the situation. I will not use any other mover as long as I live in the area.
