Worst place ever, They act like they doing you a favor! The young lady has the worst attitude ever! I ordered my food for my family at 8pm the food shows up at 9:15pm, First of all the food was cold and I was missing an order, I call back and the rude lady tells me she can’t guarantee when my owed order that I paid for will come? I proceed to demand my food. They couldn’t provide so I went to get my money as instructed! When I get to store they only wanted to give me the money for food and not tip! I demanded my tip with a huge fight! NEVER will order from here again!

I’ve lived in this neighborhood for a while and I personally like this place. I mean, its not a restuarant, just a local chinese joint. Maybe I dont know how greasy the food is because I order from the healthier side of the menu, steamed food only. The service is fast and they service brown rice(unfortunately for a small charge). The only complaint I have is that they get confused sometimes over the phone with multiple orders when you’re ordering things of different sizes or excluding stuff from the original menu. The food is good, again, if you’re being healthy.

pretty lousy chinese food. .came home from vacation once and there was nothing in my fridge so i went to get a simple chicken dish and the brown sauce was so greasy that it had separated by the time i got upstairs to eat it. I threw it away… Another time i wanted some sweet plantains. The plantains tasted burnt like they were fried in burnt old grease. It amazes me that they do such good business. always people in there.. It goes to show, just because a place is crowded does not mean it is good!

The Jade Palace Restaurant in Co-Op City is a little take-out joint serving up Chinese food to the locals. Problem is there food is very greasy. I went there once, when I had first moved to Co-Op City, and order a pint of Pork Fried Rice. I noticed the frying oil in the deep fryers they were using seemed a little dark. The floor in the cooking area seemed a little dirty to me as well. I think I was too hungry to think straight. However, even though they seemed a little busy, I got my order in a timely manner. I get home and sit down to devour my rice. When I open the container(I like eating my fried rice out of the paper container — I’m weird that way) and I’m about to take a spoonful into my mouth and stop cold. The rice seems to be covered heavily in grease. I mean, more so than usual. I try a bite and I can barely swallow what I’ve placed in my mouth. I wound up throwing the rest away and ordering a Chicken Parmesan sandwich from Section 5. Not a place I’m likely to try again.
