For sure the best Deli in the area. Good coffee, good food and clean as anyplace can be! The price and service are good and very reasonable.

Great breakfast sandwiches /coffee. Weirdly good rolls not standard. Boars head products. Friendly and super cheap. Sandwiches in 4 dollar range made with boars head. They at breakfast and lunch only though! Grill closes at 230pm and doors at 6.

Okay… so as I get a chance to explore the South Bronx a little more, I’m discovering what could probably be an unknown, undiscovered hotbed of good and cheap culinary goodness. Grand Stop is just a small basic grocery just outside of the uptown six train. If you don’t look hard enough, you’ll probably pass it. But for those that look around, it’s next to the Rite Check. These guys make killer sandwiches. They use basic Boar’s Head products, but the fact that they keep selling out of bread, let’s one know that everything is fresh. They make awesome homemade breakfast sandwiches. Probably the best breakfast spot in the south Bronx… try the sausage or a turkey bacon BLT… freekin awesome… I’m here at least five days a week, since it’s my stop for work. As long as I’m not late, check me out at the back of the line.
