Not a thrift store. More akin to a $ 0.99 store than anything else.

Very cheap store that has brand merchandise. Achieves this by buying merchandise from stores that go out of business. Good quality big general store with a lot of everything. Well-​run, but popular so expect lines of 2 – 5 people at register.
I use them to avoid all the mom & pop «99 cent» stores in the area — found out the hard way that they’re more expensive, and worse quality.
