So i have ordered from this place before and the food is good. Now they have a rule you can’t order delivery over the phone if you paying by a credit/​debit card. That’s the most stupidest thing i have ever heard. Wow they need to change that.

I come here pretty often. I don’t like to call in my orders as they can get slammed with calls and you’ll end up waiting a while to speak to someone… However, the food is pretty awesome! Staff are all friendly and attentive.

I ordered delivery and it was not the same Chicharon de pollo you get when you go in, meat was not seasoned or fried with anything. they did it before, consistency is the key to staying a good restaurant, it was a waste of my time and money will not be ordering or going in, ever. if you do go you can see for yourself they tend to their people only.

First and last time to order from here. it’s the most irresponsible place i have ever order from in the Bronx, I’m only 5 minutes away and it took more than 2 hours to get me an order of chicharon de pollo. Apparently they kept forgetting my other but the lady kept telling me that it was on the way. i spoke to a manager but he was not much help. when i finally got the order, the food was really cold and the chicken tasted really nasty. i don’t recommend it…

Fish stew here was ridiculously good. I got one of their lunch specials and ate it for lunch AND dinner.

This is a spanish cuisine restaurant basically of Dominican cuisine I’ve ordered from a few times. Their food is not bad but their is something seriously wrong with these people. I called today (9−29−14) to place a delivery order. I ordered the combo # 5 which is the 3 fried pork chops that comes with salad, beans, rice and a 2 liter soda of your flavored choice. I also ordered a large chicken soup and when I asked the lady on the phone what was the total cost of my order she said $ 21.00. Well it took over an hr for delivery, with me calling back to find out why it was taking so long since they are not too far from my location. Well, when the driver gets here, he tells me the order cost was $ 27.99. I was like no the lady told me $ 21.00. He calls her on his phone to tell her in spanish I don’t have the money to pay and I said no tell the truth she told me $ 21.00 (I do understand a little spanish) He tells me to speak to the lady and she has the nerve to tell me that the menu I have is old and that the combo price itself was $ 21.00 and that the total was $ 27.99. The driver was only concerned about being doubled parked so I told him to take the food back I don’t have time to argue when she could’ve told me that when I ordered. She said nothing about me having an old menu and when she told the driver the new menu with the new prices was in the bag with the food guess what? NO MENU!!! he and I both looked. Anyway they have just lost me as a customer and I will rip up all the menus I have from them. There are too many spanish cuisine restaurants that make better food anyway for me to deal with people who try to cheat you out of your money.

There may or may not be a ton of restaurants in this neighborhood of the Bronx, but this one is a true local gem. Plenty of hot Caribbean foods ready to eat. There is plenty of seating for your group, and this place is bustling at lunch time. If you’re into an «authentic» experience, definitely go here. It’s cheap, and it’s good.
I had a cuban sandwich. It was a little skimpy on the pickles, but that was okay. The cheese was gooey, and the meats were delicious. It was a grease bomb gut bucket sandwich, and if you like that type of thing, as I do, you’ll love this cuban sandwich. The service is quick and friendly and professional. If you are in the neighborhood, this is a great lunch spot.

Excellent dominican quisine. Sometimes they rush for delivery and the food comes burnt and the driver always wants a tip larger than the meal but great tasting and affordable.
