Chipotle Mexican Grill

Just walked out after waiting on a 15 minute line because they had no rice ready. They offered me an additional 20 minute wait. No thanks. Poorly run location. They just lost out on four dinner purchases!

I figured I finally give this location a shot given it was close to home and there wasn’t a line coming out the door. Well it’s a shot I wish I didn’t take. The portions were small: about a tablespoon of guacamole and maybe 12 shreds of cheese (!). The meat tasted a bit off and the burrito itself was the smallest I’ve ever from a chipotle ever. For the price I’m paying I expect the same quality, size, and attention to detail that I get in Manhattan (and as far away as Boston). I won’t be coming back here.

I’ve eaten at this chipotle several times and each time it leaves something to be desired. From the slow service, poorly prepared food, to the fact the constant running out of items, this chipotle is no where near the quality of those in Manhattan. The staff is always playing and must be taught about quality service and be better supervised. Someone must also better oversee their preparation of the food because it does taste different from every other chipotle I and my friends have eaten at. Something must be reevaluated at this restaurant.

The staff SUCKS!!! The food is pretty decent no but seriously the staff is all kinds of wrong. It’s looks like they went to Kennedy highschool and hired all the cool kids. Everytime I go inside I feel like I’m cattle moving in a line. Get in GET OUT! that’s how I feel.

This location is a fan favorite, aside from the food, the service is on point, and for the amount of people tht eat in, the spot is clean n hospitable… rather eat here than any other locale related to chipotle. Thts why I eat here everyyyy day!!!

Got to be the worst Chipotle out and grill is filthy and it’s brand new. I have the same steak tacos and everytime they taste totally different

If I could give them a zero I would.
The first time I went, I found a hair in my food. And they acted like if I took a hair out of my head and put it on the plate.
The second time, I ask this old grumpy lady working there, what type of salad dressing, they were offering and she said with a nasty attitude «it’s just salad dressing» and shot me away and started to question me on what I wanted. She was so rude and mean it wasn’t even funny. They then also took forever to ring us out because they didn’t make any online orders, so while people came in to pick up their food, our was sitting there out in the opening waiting them to check us out.

Okay so the tone here is still young and I am a regular customer via various Manhattan locations so I am familiar with their Mexican fast food fare. So I assume getting staff up to par will take a min… but we need that done quick. But more importantly they stingy on the meat… which is major… so I will give another try at a later date when I think there has been enough dealings with the masses.
Otherwise there isn’t much to say about the franchise other than more experience to the staff is needed and a request to be a little heavy handed.

I like the way this place was constructed, the inside is very nice and I love the music, the food is delicious, and it’s on Broadway next to the 1 train,

They are always missing at least 2 – 4 ingredients at any given time and seem to be unapologetic about this, sometimes even saying that waiting for something to come out would take 40 – 45 minutes (how long does it take to cook up some fajitas??). I also used to work at Chipotle a few years back and I know for a fact they are breaking MANY health code rules in their handbooks, I’ve seen so many employees not using gloves or leaving the bottoms of the metal containers on the food line where people’s tortillas touch and stuff… the wait is always ridiculously long, and God help you if you come here at 9:30 pm when they are nearly out of everything and are too lazy to cook more of something to appease the customers already in line, since it’s so close to closing time… to top it off, the soda machine is broken half of the time when I go there too. I only go here because it’s so close to where I live, hence the two stars for convenience. They have a long ways to go to get to where they need to be.

Since when is it ok for restaurants to server burned charred mean and not have all the ingredients for there signature product. Burrito. Avoid this spot.

Horrible. I arrived at 11 am when they open and they were eating lunch and and told me to come back in a few minutes. I waited about 5 min came back and they still weren’t ready. Lots of menu items not available. Then they blasted horrible music so loud you couldn’t hold a conversation. Then I sat at a table and realized the place is filthy. Dried food everywhere and dirty windows etc. I was so happy to have chipotle open in our neighborhood but this place is gross and the staff is rude/​lazy.

I love Chipotle and was very excited when this location opened so close to my home. Unfortunately, this is the worst Chipotle I’ve been to.
I’ve online ordered from some of the busiest locations in NYC and Westchester with no problem but EVERY single time I’ve placed an online order from here, it’s never ready when I arrive to pick it up.
The first two times I wasn’t bothered and figured they were working out some of the kinks from having just opened. However, months later and it hasn’t gotten better. I’ve come over 30 minutes after the scheduled pick up time and it’s still not ready!
Lastly, no one is apologetic and the portions are small.
Worst. Chipotle. Ever.

My first and last time at this establishment, first off the guy serving the food looks at everyone like he wants to fight them, so much for customer service, then when you tell them what you want and they have an attitude, if you don’t like serving people then don’t work in a place where you have to serve PEOPLE!!! The chicken is beyond burnt and not edible, the steak is dry and non edible! I asked for plain white rice and got an an attitude! Again if you don’t want to serve people then don’t serve people! This is the last time I ever get food from here! This is why you can’t have nice things in the hood!

The food in chipotle, as we all know is pretty much the same as any other location. I rate this a 3-​star because of the service. Each time I’ve gone to this location, the lines have been SO long. It was about a 20 – 30 minute wait just to start ordering. This doesn’t happen in any other of the busier locations in NYC. The food there is fine, portions are fine as well. I really think they need more workers.

Generous servings on my first trip here. Service was somewhat «chill», but I don’t expect any Chipotle outside of Manhattan to be as efficient; the speed here was adequate. Big plus for having parking!
It’s clean, it’s delicious, it’s Chipotle, not much else to say!

This location is like ALL chipotle Locations… The food and quality is exactly like all other chipotles. It is up to YOU to make the best of your order. Play around with your bowl or burrito, and if the chicken is raw… tell them!!! Don’t just keep eating it… I have gotten food from here and it has always been amazing!
This location is new, clean, welcoming, great staff, great team, great energy, and fresh fresh food. The guacomole is amazing!!! Order it all! Try it and if you don’t like something, tell them. THey will change things for you right away.

Not my first time eating in a Chipotle grill, all others have been good this one the food was ice cold and when I complained all they said was oh we’re sorry. I’m sorry because somebody is going to get sick.
I gave it one star because there’s no way to give it any less than that

Well well another review. This chipotle location is new, it does look different it still has that chipotle feel, there are good things about this place and there are very serious negatives. Let’s dive in. 3…2…1 starto!
Let’s start with talking about the building itself: it’s a new location so seating areas are clean, floors are mopped regularly (saw one of the staff mopping the last time I was here), the space is medium size not too big but not too small this place does get extremely crowed during the weekdays (especially lunch time starting from 12 noon to 4pm) so make sure you have spare time if your thinking of ordering something from here cause you will wait. (I’ll share a tip in a bit so you won’t have to wait lol)
Staff: there all nice, newish since they do fumble a little on some orders. They work fast and always give a smile when you ask them questions or giving them your orders to ring up.
Food: a very serious negative here within the food: some stuff is either undercooked or not cooked to spec. I’m aware that everyone there is new but guys make sure the food is handled properly because truth be told I have gotten sick eating a burrito from here and I’m not the only one others I know have also gotten sick. Please be very careful on this, make sure there no undercooking going on and everything is cooked to quality.
This location is ok. Doesn’t really stand out too much and is like any other chipotle place really.
Final verdict:
Pros: nice staff, clean seating/​building
Cons: crowding, under cooked food (meats usually overcooked), cooking not cooked to spec. Prices are pricy (didn’t go over this since it’s normalize like any other location)
Judgement: I’ll come back for a quick bite but I probably won’t be here too much. Save money and time. ⁴⁄₁₀ hopefully they read this and work on their errors.

When my office wants Mexican, we put in an online order at the Yonkers Chipotle and drive up to collect it. Now that Kingsbridge opened a location, we called in to do the same.
At the time of pickup, we called to check on the order and found out there was a water main problem and they didn’t know when they could be ready with the food. Then we heard on the radio that nearby areas were on a boil water alert until Midnight. Ugh. Cancelled the order.
