This is a great place, been going here since I was a teenager living just up the block on Elder avenue. First off and important it’s a clean place. I constantly see them sweeping, wiping counters and equipment down. In all my years going there I have had only a handful of things. Mainly cause when a place makes something tasty, well you just keep wanting to order it over and over again. So things like good old fashion breakfast or a juicy burger have always been my favorites here. So much so that when I moved out of the Bronx to other places like Queens, Brooklyn or even Staten Island I would make it a point to come back to the neighborhood I consider home and eat at the the «Burger Hut». Staff has always been friendly over the years and they get my order right each time cause you hear them yell it out. Long live the Bronx and the good food it has to offer.

I’ve tried the breakfast here and it’s all really good, but the five star review is mainly for their burgers. I like to order mine deluxe so that it comes with cheese and a big side of fries. I’ll also add an egg and bacon on top (cause I ain’t worried bout nothin), and even with all that, it’s only $ 8.50! Ask for jalapeños and they’ll bring a container of them to your table.
The place is small, but they’ll make you some delicious, affordable food, really quickly. The people who work there work hard and are also really nice. It’s my go-​to spot for a good burger in this neighborhood.

This place is amazing, yes it’s a small location; i always have my food delivered they’re fast on delivery and the food is always nice and hot! Not to mention they’re food is delicious!!! I love this place and I would recommend this place to anyone especially if they’re craving burgers!

Have only eaten here at 5−6am in the morning usually while intoxicated with alcohol so my judgement is not at it’s peak I have to say the food is very affordable and the place is conveniently next to the 6 train they are fast paced so you can go «in and out»
They how ever do close pretty early like from 5−6pm that is not very convenient but makes sense because they are a breakfast place but then it doesn’t because it’s called burger hut!!! So what do I do when I want a burger at 5!

This is quite the divey diner, and that’s a good thing! Here’s why:

I’ve also enjoyed burgers and fries there, and they are perfect and cheap!
FAST service
Right next to the 6 train entrance, which means it is SUPER convenient for grabbing a bite to eat on the train for the long trip home

Good food, good prices. It’s a tiny place, so it’s not ideal for groups.

Even though I have only order brfst from here it pretty good n very fast. Good place to get a cup of joe n toast bf work. Beware! when you order over the phone be very clear as to what you want I have ordered many times and many times I am missing things.
