The food is great, fresh, and plenty to choose from. The staff is super friendly, helpful and patient. They make sure to remember their customers and their orders. The wait can be pretty long for a to-go place, definitely call ahead. My one major issue with this place is that their prices have gone up considerably in the last year. I still go regularly, but ONLY because of the complete dearth of healthy fresh alternatives in the neighborhood.

This place used to be pretty decent. The food is not bad, a nice little selection of breakfast or lunch foods. Easily accessible as I am often in the area. However, since they have raised their prices, it makes me not want to go there anymore. There prices have jumped to nearly a dollar more in some cases. Used to be a great lunch selection choice, but now I have to choose somewhere cheaper. Prices aside, they did make some good food. Their salads were good, as well as their tacos, and soups.

Really, really good option in the work hood. Lots and lots to choose from. Menu will seriously overwhelm you. The food is delicious. My onnnnnllly issue… the wait. Get ready to wait at least 15mins for an order during the lunch rush. I would recommend calling ahead. Seriously, CALLAHEAD!

I work in the South Bronx and this is a great healthy option to the corner Chinese spot or Popeyes. I am INLUV with Viva Café– their wraps are delicious, flavorful and they do not skimp on the filling!

I am so happy this place exists. I’ve worked in the neighborhood from time to time for about 2.5 years and it’s been VERY hard to find vegan/vegetarian food — or anything healthy, for that matter. They have a homemade vegan soup every day(curried cauliflower, chili, mixed veggie, etc), plus a number of sandwiches like falafel. The downside is that they are often out of what I want come 5pm(perhaps they close early), so I’m often limited to fruit or snack bars.
