I used to come here a lot for their lunch specials since I work close by. It was great to see the remodeling transformation over the last couple of years that opened up the bakery section to make it bigger. I don’t frequent it as much since I started cooking and bringing my own lunch to work, but I stop in from time to time to grab pastries, like I did this morning. My co-worker raves about their lobster claws, and the«Milky Way» chocolate pastry is out of this world(ha — no pun intended). The one thing that always makes me a little sad: their staff. They look miserable every time I come in. I don’t know if they’re mis-managed or overworked, but they aren’t very friendly. They seem stressed. It’s not cheap, but the food is great and it’s my go-to spot for the times when I need a cake, pie, or other baked goody to celebrate a special occasion. PS — Gets super crowded for lunch and the parking lot is small. You’ve been warned!

It’s so nice to have a broad scale, fresh bakery in the area. White’s is alway there when you need them. The service is great and the selection is spectacular. One constructive wish — I would love for the ownership to try each of their cakes, pastries and other baked goods with the question«how can we improve this?». I’ll give a couple of examples; their standard frosting is very sweet and grainy(I know you can ask for a different frost but why not make the better one the standard); the carrot cake could use some more brown sugar, walnuts and carrots(everything is kind of emulsified). Please don’t get me wrong. Everything is a solid 4 stars. I just see all the pieces of a 5 star bakery and would love to see that happen. Just my thoughts.

I have driven by this place a few times, as well as their location in Mansfield, as it is a stone’s throw from WB Mason(my favorite place), as well as literally right on the city lines of Easton and West Bridgewater, in a weird location on Pearl Street in a plaza with a pizza place and a nail salon. So I stopped in yesterday. Definitely the BEST bakery in the area. By far. So impressed. It’s NOT nearly JUST a bakery. It’s a café and deli too! There are multiple large seating areas, and lots of space inside. The bakery section is largest with everything possible to have in a bakery. Literally, I could find everything I was looking for and MORE. Plus, the prices aren’t outrageous and everything is SO delicious. I’ll have to come back for lunch and the delicious loaves of bread, chocolate cake, and chocolate chip cookies they have. 5 star gem, hidden in South Brockton. Definitely a place to stop by. 5 stars.

I go here for lunch a few times a week. The salads and sandwiches are great and they are very reasonable for price. I have got a few pastries there and they were good, but I am not a huge fan of cookies and sweets. Also, the ice coffee is good and strong.

Overpriced and the staff is very young and not friendly. I drove 40 min to pick up my cake and when I got there I had to pick a number and wait behind 20+ people buying pastries. I found it strange there was no spot to pick up your cake and go, it was very inconvenient especially when your paying $ 250 on a cake. needless to say I made it to the party late

Very disappointed with my sons birthday cake. Looked nothing like the pictures I showed, and the supposed«baseball» was lumpy and flat on top. They charged me for a two tier because of the baseball, so I already felt over priced. When I asked to speak with someone they said all I could do was email the owner, no one could help me because they are all 16 year olds and clueless. There response was«they did what they could» well if there’s a certain type of cake you can’t do you should say it instead of attempting it and missing the mark. Not very innovative or creative with new techniques. Pastries are delicious… But over all they’re over priced and have bad customer service. Just my experience with them.

couldn’t leave a review with ENOUGHGLOWINGREVIEW for Whites Bakery. Not only is all their food delicious, bakeries AND deli but there staff and customer service is up to a level you very rarely see these days. A disappointing error occurred when the wrong photo was put on a custom birthday cake the afternoon of the party. Not only was the Mansfield store staff kind and apologetic, but when I called the Brockton store to explain what had happened not only did they have a decorator come in on a Sunday, but they completely redecorated it. As nice as that gesture was, they understood I was peparing for guests for the party and could not get to Brockton so they personally delivered the cake to my home. The next day was followed up with an incredibly courteous email from management apologizing again. they rescued the party AND the cake was super moist, fresh, delicious and perfectly decorated. I told everyone at the party about the exceptional service and all enjoyed the cake throughly. Customer for life

Well, I’ll tell you what… The pastries here are indeed good. But over the last year, since they opened another café/bakery, the prices have gone up considerably. Every April, I order a fruit tart for my wife. She’s loved them there for years. This year I called, and after nearly 10 mins on hold, Lauren tells me it is now 46 dollars for a damn 10 inch fruit tart. AND, now needs a 5% deposit. Soon, one will need to finance a wedding cake there, I mean really? What kind of magical fruit do they use on their tarts? Come on David White. Come on back to earth for us little people. SO needless to say I will not be going here again. Shame too. But theres always Greggs in No. Providence. :)

White’s is just so inconsistent for me and it’s a shame. I work in Brockton, so I’ve been here dozens of times and it is the office pick for birthday cakes. The deli/lunch options are great. Thanksgiving Sandwich, Greek Turkey Burger, Turkey Avocado BL& Sprouts, and the house pasta salad are solid lunch options. Service on the lunch side leaves a bit to be desired though. Bakery is where things get rocky. Sometimes the cakes are wonderful, other times they are dry and old, thawed out tasting. Don’t even bother with the cupcakes.

First of all, all items are WAY over priced! Second, the desserts are hit or miss. Most of the time they are WAY too sweet, and trust me I love sweets. Sizes of desserts are disappointing. Not really recommended. Stick with you local grocery bakery section!

Tonight a family came into my restaurant and they brought a cake from the bakery. It wasn’t my table but I was admiring the cake and somebody told me it was from White’s bakery in Brockton. It was beautifully decorated and I was just so enamored by it so at the end of the meal they actually gave me a piece to take home. Obviously knowing I was a chocolate lover. It was layers of chocolate and icing and raspberry. And it was so good. Will be going to the bakery all on my own to be finding out about all the other wonderful creations you have. So happy the family gave me a piece of the cake they said their son works there so thank you again I will be seeing you soon

Best bakery by far in Brockton/Easton area. Lots of options, but I’m only going to take about the ones I’ve tried. I’m a huge Half Moon Cookie(good Half Moon are hard to find) fan and they’re is the best I’ve had in the area. Basic chocolate and vanilla cupcakes are very good, although we got a couple of the specialty(peanut butter cup and red velvet) and they were a bit dry. We get our Challah bread here at the Jewish holidays. Birthday cakes are also the best. canolies are very good but not up to North End quality. The sweets are good and they also have excellent bread. You can get lunch here too(it looks good but I’ve never tried it).

For me White’s Bakery always equals disappointment. When you roll up to the place and walk in, you expect great things. However, this place is just an average bakery. White’s isn’t aweful, it’s just mediocre. Unfortunately this is the best as it gets around here. If you have time and don’t mind the car or train ride, go to Flour in Boston. Flour is what a bakery should be.

This place is so clutch! It’s a wonderful bakery offering fresh baked bread daily and an array of desserts(whole cakes, cake by the slice and even $ 1 mini versions of cannolis for example). On the other side of the bakery is their café that offers a wide variety of paninis, salads, soup and other food you either buy by the slice/piece or by weight, like lasagna, meatloaf or buffalo chicken egg roll(yum!). You have the option of dining in here, and believe me, people do, particularly weekday lunch. Nonetheless, the staff at White’s Bakery offers prompt and courteous service, and the product is really good quality! I recommend! XOXO

Great pastries, great lunch options, plenty of healthy and not healthy options to choose from. They have a few tables if you want to dine in. They don’t serve their sandwiches on the weekends, but they still have plenty of lunch options. I love the orzo and quinoa salads!

No more Konditor Meister and their played out like a walkman chocolate covered strawberry topped cake. White’s bakery is where it’s at! My birthday cake was a 10″ red velvet cake with french buttercream frosting, and it left me satiated. girlfriend Chandra hooked it up, she put her foot in it. Located in Brockton, sort of brock/easton line. They also do breakfast and lunch! Bottom line, get your cakes, cupcakes, cookies, breads from here.

A nice bakery with a big selection of desserts, breads, and savory foods such as calzones. The desserts are good, I have never ordered anything that I couldn’t live without ordering again, but the macaroons have to be my favorite thing on their menu. Everything is of good quality, but I just find some of their items to be bland, or too sugary. My family ordered dessert assortments from White’s for years for almost every holiday, and we have recently stopped. It’s not because there quality has gone down hill or anything negative, but they are sort of bland, and there just nothing special to the taste of things such as cheesecake, cream puff and so on. Good spot to try, and definitely worth the visit though. During different seasons they offer different seasonal cakes. I love the snowman cake they sell around Christmas, it is a snowman head, and I think it is the most adorable thing ever. The summertime«cheeseburger cake» is pictured in their Unilocal photo album… FUN :)

My sister’s best friend got her birthday cakes here: Tiramisu and Red Velvet. The tiramisu cake was to die for! It was the most delicious tiramisu I have ever had. The cake was moist and did not have an intense alcohol flavor. It was perfect! The red velvet cake was good also, but I felt that the frosting was so so. Wish it had more cream cheese flavor to it. The cake was a little moist and crumbled a little too much. White’s Pastry had great cakes from what I had so far and will definitely go back to purchase cakes for occasion from there from now on!
