I have been to a number of VW dealers in the area. And, was practically stranded for service at Metro. I called up Paul Clark on my way out of Metro and they were able to help me that very day. In fact, they told me to drive my car directly there. Ever since then, I will not take my car anywhere else. See Mike in the Service Department and you will be treated well.

Very very nice and helpful here. They send you a detailed video of their assessment of the vehicle which is really awesome. Tim at the front desk always takes care of me and answers any questions (however many) I may have. I have stopped in without an appointment for small things a few times and they always scoot me right in and take care of it. I would highly suggest going here for any Volkswagen needs!

Do not have your vehicle services here, they are extremely shady. I paid over $ 1500 to have a wheel speed sensor replaced. The first repair they stated it would be cheaper to fix the broken wire that was $ 900 to basically splice and cover with electrical tape. I then had they same problem 6 months later and they wanted $ 400 to fix it because they said it broke in a different place. The third time it failed was 13 months later so they stated it was out of warranty. They then suggested to replace the wire harness that they earlier tried to repair, that cost $ 500. I then asked why if it was only 500 to replace it why did they repair under the premise that it would save me money, when in fact it cost almost twice as much. I of course did not get a straight answer, this place will screw you any way they can. I did have them give me the old harness and upon inspection it looks like they had a high school kid splice it, no solder, no shrink wrap just cloth tape and a small piece of vinyl electrical tape.

Salesperson Anthony was fine, but a week later, and MULTIPLE REQUESTS, I STILL DO NOT HAVE MY MEASLY $ 100 DEPOSIT BACK! We did not buy a car from them and glad we didn’t, if this is how they manage business. What if this was a bigger deposit? My fiancé and I ended up buying a Toyota Cary in Hyannis, at Hyannis Toyota & our salesperson Jack was awesome. I wa shopping Paul Clark to buy car with my son, but experience with deposit so bad, I couldn’t talk my fiancé into looking at a car I saw there, which i really like. But, very happy with the Camry.

Hilariously awful sales department.
Went to the dealer to look at a used car they’ve had in their inventory for a long period of time. At first the salesman seemed genuinely interested in our business. We test drove the car, put a $ 500 deposit down, and scheduled to take the car to mechanic. We decided to go forward on the deal and sat down to «negotiate» a price, but there was 0 negotiating going on.
The car needed some serious mechanical work done before it left the lot. No one with any knowledge of automobiles would purchase the car without the work being performed. Therefore, terms of negotiation included this work. They threw one price at us, we left for the night to sleep on it.
The next day we called the salesmen with a counter offer at that time the salesman had already tacked more money onto the original offer made on the night prior. We were told that we would get called back. Then there was no communication with the salesmen for days, despite multiple calls.
We finally stopped payment on the check, attempted to retrieve the check multiple times, and bought a different car from another dealer with excellent customer service. The salesmen finally got back to us after the deal was done claiming he was «busy fighting for us». He came up with a quote for the work that needed to be done on the car and offered us a price that was OVER their original asking price, completely forgetting that they had offered us a way lower deal that included the work days before.
There are no words for how pathetic this dealership was to deal with. It’s amazing that they manage to sell anything. Never give these people your money — we were lucky enough to have had time to cancel our check. We were able to get the check back.

DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY MONEY/​DEPOSIT. They will keep it. I honestly don’t know how these folks sleep at night. We put down $ 2000 on a car which we ultimately decided not to buy. Paul Clark VW refuses to refund our money. They will not respond to emails or telephone calls. I am contacting the Atty. General’s office.

We gave Paul Clark VW a $ 500 deposit in December. They were unable to get the car they promised us, so we called, then stopped in to get our deposit back. We still haven’t gotten it and its now the middle of February. They do not return our calls. We are considering legal action.

Let’s face it, no one really enjoys the car buying process. Add in the used inventory and headaches are bound to happen. Obsessive price checking across multiple web-​platforms, constant research, and endlessly giving/​receiving the same pitch.
Enter: Paul Clark Volkswagen. Patient, consumer-​driven service.
After nearly three weeks of eroding confidence in the process, I met with Anthony from sales. Professional, yet hysterical — he had me laughing within minutes. He took the time to learn what I was interested in and respected limits on what I was able to afford. Sure, the more you pay the more car you can get. But this did not cause him to shy away from helping find the right car for me.
Yes, they are part of a business built on moving inventory. Yes, each person involved in the sale transaction has a part in bringing in revenue to the dealership. However, I was met with non-​pushy service and patience across the buying process, provided with the time necessary to make informed decisions, and left feeling confident in my investment.

pps. No binding contract is ever formed without a signed P&S agreement with accompanying deposit. (simple contract law = offer + acceptance + consideration ($) are all necessary to be binding).

I know some people just ready the 1^st line so read this; STAY AWAY! I left terribly disappointed. Anthony was my salesman and he seemed genuine but sadly he is like many other used car salesmen. I had an agreement set via email for a vehicle that I test drove and then applied for financing for. I show up on the day we agreed to finalize it and BAM! They sold the car the day before! No remorse, not even a phone call as a courtesy at any point in time.
I met Paul Clark III at the dealership and he too seemed genuine but the more I thought about it I figured it’s part of their shtick.
There are many dealerships in the area. If you’re shopping for a VW I would suggest Tracy VW in Hyannis or Metro right off Route 24. I know the family that owns Metro is benevolent and cares.
If you see someone picketing out front of Paul Clark VW, it’s probably me.

Don’t make the mistake of trusting this dealership. Convinced me to get an extended service plan. Now my vehicle needs service and of course it’s not covered. What a waste of $ 1600, on the warranty. Service department will hold your car together with zip-​ties and bandaids. Shotty work for sure. Don’t make the same mistake I did. Do your research and go somewhere else. Don’t trust the service department, they are hacks. Avoid this dealership

TERRIBLE! PLEASE for god’s sake do not give these people your money. This is the worst place ever. I can’t strongly state how dishonest these people are. They are schemers and if you have to get your car fixed, beware. VERY DISHONEST! The repair shop is extremely dishonest and overcharges for EVERYTHING. I traded in my Jetta so thankfully I won’t have to deal with them again. #winning.

I went to have my VW checked out here. Turned out I needed a new steering rack, a $ 2200 job according to them. Okay, fine, it’s a big fix. We spent $ 100 just for the diagnostic. They also wanted me to check out a leak they found coming from the radiator or something and had the nerve to showed me, «See that huge puddle of liquid on the floor in the garage? That’s from your car.» They claimed it was from the leak although I had ever noticed a leak before, especially one that significant… To make this long story short, I repaired my steering rack somewhere else for $ 1400 and I had no leak whatsoever. Please refrain from getting scammed by these guys. Their customer service was awful and made me realize I will never be back again. Wouldn’t dream of buying a car from them either. See guys? If you rip people off, they will rip you a new one on Unilocal

I did not purchase a vehicle at Paul Clark VW because I was lucky to figure out their scheme prior to my arrival (1.5 hr drive.)
On a Friday night I made an offer on a specific vehicle via their website. Saturday AM I spoke with Dave, a sales agent and was told that specific car was available at that price. Saturday afternoon as I was driving down Dave was no longer working all-​day and I spoke with Patrick, another sales agent. Patrick told me that he saw all of the details from Dave and he started to collect data to get the P&S started. Patrick called back (as we were driving down) and stated that a) the price I had was for a different car, b) the car I wanted was $ 1200 more, c) the car I specified was sold yesterday. I quickly stated the facts that I had an accepted offer for the specific car and was told it was available. I then got the «well, I will need to speak with a manager» go around. I let Patrick know that I was not playing his unethical game and was done.
Seth, the sales manager called and emailed me to see what he could do. I did not return his call.
Huge bait & switch from Paul Clark VW. Unethical and horrid. Avoid at all costs!

My dealings with Paul Clark VW has destroyed my faith in basic human decency. Please, if you value your safety, do NOT purchase one of their used vehicles.
I should have known they were a dishonest bunch when the price kept changing on the car. It was listed as $ 11k on the website, then marked as $ 15k when I went to look at it, and was later told the price was «always $ 13,900» when I asked about the prices. The salesman was surprised that I even asked about it. He then called and emailed me once a day since I came in to look at the vehicle. They bungled my registration so they had to send someone to deliver the vehicle: he got lost for 2 hours because he could not find my place of work with his GPS. When I gave in and drove to meet him at the only place nearby he could find, I found he left crumbs in my car.
All this was annoying, but trivial. I noticed upon delivery that the vehicle made some new sounds, but didn’t think much of it. They got worse and worse so I took it to another VW dealership to get checked out.
Within minutes, the VW mechanic found SEVERAL issues with my «Certified» VW, now only two weeks in my possession. He was able to pull out things that should have been attached: the air intake, the radiator, some wires. He suggested I pay to have them go through the certification checklist, and I’m glad I agreed.
I got a call the next day from the mechanic who was very concerned. He said he’d had to call the dealership because of something he found: The front crash sensors were not hooked up. Never mind the 10 or so other issues that would have made the vehicle fail the certification checklist, this oversight meant that my airbags could go off at any time as well as that they just might not go off if I was in a crash. The VW dealership that checked out the car would not release it to me because it was unsafe to drive.
Paul Clark VW sold me a vehicle that they lied about certifying that could have killed me. Despite this, they are none too keen to talk to me about what we’re going to do about this. I can’t believe anyone can be this careless and dishonest. I’m still hoping they come to their senses and give me a full refund and an apology.
Avoid this dealership at all costs. It could save your life.

Absolutely HORRIBLE customer service. I would NEVER recommend buying a car from them or trying to get it fixed. Instead of trying to help me with the situation I was in with my car, they only were rude and tried to make money off of me. When ever I asked for the manager he was «out» and they charged me a lot of money for ridiculous things. And apparently the problem with my car «just happens». No explanation at all, and it was not covered under the warranty we purchased even though it is the best warranty available.

I recently purchased a brand new car at Paul Clark and the experience was GREAT!!! This is a no pressure dealership. The salesmen did not pounce on me the second I walked through the door. I was greeted by a sales person after I got a chance to look around at the cars by myself. I was then asked if I wanted to take a test drive and they just threw me the keys and said take it where ever you like. I liked the fact that I didnt have a sales person in the back seat when i am trying to drive the car. Our salesman Sami was the utmost professional. he matched the internet price on the car and also gave us the interest rate special on the loan which was great. Sami did not pressure us into anything we did not want. If you ever have a chance to purchase a car I would request Sami as your sales guy he will make it as painless as possible.

So much to think about while choosing a used vehicle!
We dealt with Steve and he was fantastic. We test drove new and used cars and tried to make a decision on 1 and he helped us best he could. Everyone in the dealership was so friendly and helpful. We ended up buying a used 2007 Touareg which we initially saw online because of the size and features it already had installed. After a week or two we noticed the CD player would not eject the Cd’s so we made an appointment to bring it in, it was covered under the warranty and was done in 30 minutes. (Still waiting to get the CD back from the stereo manufacturer though) Steve even threw in a mats for the back area and under seats.
