Scandalously clad distaff staff aside, this is hands down the best Dairy Queen you’re likely to find in the southern suburbs. Run with lean efficiency, nothing but ice cream on the menu, four windows open at peak times — they are all business here, turning over the teeming hordes at a rapid fire rate. What I’m saying is, don’t be discouraged by the lines — you won’t wait long.
And for some reason I can’t figure, the soft serve ice cream — ice MILK, actually — here just seems better than that offered at other DQs. Don’t know if it’s the machines, or they add a little something in on site, can’t figure. Their blizzard machines are better, too — also inexplicable. But I like a little mystery with my indulgences. And I indulge here often.

This is the best Dairy Queen around. The prices are better, and the quantity has the others beat.
