Revay’s Gardens

My wife and I learned about Revay’s when she received a gift from a friend which was purchased here. On a random Saturday we decided to take a drive out and explore the place, and hopefully find some gifts for Christmas.
Revay’s is a combination nursery and gift shop. We didn’t fully explore the nursery since we weren’t shopping for plants, but it appeared to be well-​labeled and orderly, containing a number of options for outdoor planting or indoor plants.
The gift shop was large, with a number of crafts and gift options. Since it is holiday time, a good number of the items were holiday-​related (such as Christmas decorations and ornaments). There was an area with some train sets that looked neat, and a number of glass/​ceramic items if you collect them.
The staff was very friendly and polite, and helpful when we had questions regarding pricing. They were also efficient in getting us checked out and moving on to the next customer.
Overall it was a pleasant experience, and we will likely be back in the future.
(One note — while they do accept credit cards, they do NOT accept American Express).

Every time I come to Revay’s, I am impressed by their plants. Yesterday, I decided to stop by while I was in the area and was happy that I did. I got a gorgeous and huge hot pink geranium plant to bring some color to my front yard. There were very clear and easy to read signs which helped me select a plant that would do well in the full sun location that I had in mind. I am kind of sad that I didn’t pick up more plants actually — they had patio planters for tomatoes and cucumbers that looked great! I also had my eye on some pretty hibiscus plants as well. This place is great.
