Shelbee’s Vintage Cafe

There was a good selection of sandwiches and a smattering of interesting dishes being offered here. My problem was that it seemed to be a «cold» atmosphere — but I think there have been some attempts to work this out. My sandwich was delicious, I had a good cuppa hot tea and had to hurry off to an appointment downtown. I want to go back and try other things, in the evening so I can have some of the craft beers they were offering. I enjoyed the previous incarnation, but they didn’t quite have it together either. Cupcakes rule! Good luck new owners!

I’ll never visit or recommend this place to anyone. I’ve given this place chance after chance and they have failed. I can honestly say that I’ve visited this establishment 5 or 6 times. My reasoning for knowing about this place is because I work downtown and my CoWorkers would order take out alot but stopped going there for the same reason as I am. Also my husband is an Bristol Police officer and he has also experienced the same incidents as I and my CoWorkers. EVERYTIME I go there this place is out of EVERYTHING!! Shelbees has been out of Tomato and Feta Salad 3 times, Chilli, Soups, Nacho Cheese, Nacho Chips, Bread, Tortilla Wraps, Tuna fish, and to take the final straw I was in there last week and they were out of CHICKEN YES CHICKEN and Diet Coke and I went back today and they were STILL out of Chicken and Diet Coke (Bottle and Fountain) This is unacceptable from a restaurant. I use to own a Restaurant and would never open my doors if I couldnt supply the guest with items on the menu. I didn’t come to this reataurant 5 times to be told what you don’t have and what I can get based on what you guys have. I’m a paying patron and my business should be appreciated and some consisitency should be shown at this restaurant or just close down for God Sakes! This place is a joke

Shelbee’s Vintage has some creative and delicious menu items in the appetizer section like jalapeño poppers wrapped in bacon. I prefer coming in for their desserts even though they do breakfast, lunch, and dinner too.

Not what it used to be with the new owners. I’ve given the new Shelbee’s several chances to prepare something good. I’ve tried cupcakes… less than adequate and dry. I’ve had wraps for lunch. I don’t think anyone tasted the vegetarian wrap before putting it on the menu, blech. Too much vinegar.
They’ve had more than enough chances, I do not recommend it.
