Great place to grab a quick lunch! The Turkey Special is their take on a «thanksgiving» sandwich and it is amazing.

Hands down best spinach pie I ever had, especially if you customized it with their homemade red pepper relish and marinara sauce to dip it in — a must try! It’s my go-to when I want something quick and delicious. They also have the best cold cuts for all their sandwiches, the bread is my favorite — bread is everything when it comes having a great sandwich! I have never been there and had a bad meal, everything is so fresh and satisfying. This is the place to go if you want great food at an inexpensive price! Yummm!

Best subs in Bristol! I would recommend The Brian, but everything I’ve had here is delicious. One thing I will warn you about is the line during peak hours, so make sure you call ahead!

Good food good service, but expect a wait at lunchtime unless you call in a take out order. Ib had the Willow,(recommended to me by the young woman behind the counter) a nice blend of turkey offered in a salad with cranberries, crisp bacon and fresh veggies on toasted roll. Yum

I visited Riccotti’s Sandwich shop today a little after lunch time. The food was delicious however the staff was not so great. I was«helped» by a young girl, with dark hair, a little big in stature, who by far hates her job. Apparently I was interrupting her important conversation with another female employee by bothering her to place an order. This girl who ‘helped’ me looked so unkempt she must have not gone to bed last night. I am hoping she at least washed her hands before she made my sandwich. I would come to Ricotti’s again for the food, but only if she wasn’t working.

Good food and fairly priced. Tends to be very busy during the lunch rush so if picking up, you will want to call ahead. My favorite is the Gene Special, which is basically just a supped up spinach pie. It has black olives, cheese, onions, peppers and mushrooms. Pair it with a side of marinara sauce and you are good as gold.

Consistently great food at a reasonable price and the nicest people as well as customer service orientated people always greet you immediately upon walking in. We especially like their chicken parm and spinach pies.

I’ve driven by here a million times and, judging by outer appearances, probably would not have ever gone in. But hey, you shouldn’t judge books by their covers, right? My husband suggested grabbing some sandwiches here since he had come with a friend and loved the spinach pie. The spinach pie, interestingly enough, is not a pie, but more like a grilled sandwich/panini type thing. It was pretty good. I assumed it was just spinach and cheese but I found some random pepperoni pieces in there. Vegetarians beware. We also got the sweet potato fries which were amazing. And I got a meatball sub which was decent enough. Prices are incredibly reasonable. I think our whole meal, drinks included, was like $ 14. All in all, pretty good food and great prices. I would go back, especially for those sweet potato fries.

I absolutely love this place! The Meatball sub is amazing! Just a note, I got the large meatball sub and I figured it was going to be 12 inches. The sub was actually 14 – 16 inches long, just so you know. Anyway the meat was great. Good flavor and was juicy. The sauce was also very good. You could taste it but it didn’t take over the flavor of the sandwich. This place is also packed most of the time so consider take out. I personally never did take out so I do not know if they answer the phone or not, considering the other reviews. All in all, definitely come by this place and try out the amazing subs. They also have spinach pies that I personally didn’t get, but they are know for them. P. S. I did finish the sub. :)

I have been eating here since I was 16… that is 31 year years now. Fast, convenient, and delicious. Good prices. Great steak sandwiches., Willow Tree Chicken Salad Special is good too but where else can you go and get the best spinach pie with provolone and mushrooms for only 4.00. It’s awesome!

As a stoner, sandwiches are of the utmost importance to me. I’ve hit up sandwich places all over southern NE and nothing beats Ricotti’s. They’re not fancy nor are they trying to be. The menu is pretty straight forward with much of what you’d expect and I’ve yet to have anything that isn’t great. Also really like their no bullshit staff that don’t mess up orders and aren’t overly friendly. So eat here, because it’s 10X better than Subway. Did I mention I don’t like Subway? Fuck Subway.

A good place to have a sub. The prices are very good compared to the competition. I had a grilled chicken sandwich with fries. The chicken was very good and fresh. A busy place during lunch time and the employees get everything correct.

Riccotti’s is about as good as a sandwich shop can get. After thinking long and hard about all the potential negatives aspects, only 1 thing comes to mind: Wait time. Riccotti’s is a small sandwich shop, and they rarely have over 6 workers at a time. This means they get busy, and they get busy a lot. In fact, most times I’ve been to Riccotti’s there’s been a line out the door. But there’s a reason it’s always so busy — the menu is extensive and the sandwiches are made to perfection. Inside, the restaurant only has about 10 tables, so space is limited. But if you can, this will give you just enough time to relax, watch some TV, and grab a beer(They also serve alcohol) The staff is friendly, although often extremely busy. With so many things going on at once I’m surprised they don’t make more mistakes. Sandwiches are made as quick as possible if you walk-in; although, calling in advance makes much more sense. Riccotti’s also caters party platter subs and for the most part, they’re inexpensive. The portions are large, and if you in fact order a large, be prepared to eat a lot of food. Everything from the buffalo chicken, to the spinach pies are made with fresh ingredients by a friendly, hardworking crew.

They NEVER answer the phone. It either automatically hangs up on you before it even starts ringing or it rings for a couple minutes and no one answers. If their number is incorrect they should fix it on Unilocal as well as the menu I just picked up from them a week ago. Otherwise, I’d have to say poor customer service. This forces me to go there, order, and wait for it to be prepared(10−15mins in my experience). Not very time efficient when I’m on a short break from work. When it comes to the food, great prices and pretty good food. But it doesn’t seem to be worth the aggravation.

Voted best sandwich in the East Bay by RI Monthly. I’ll second that. Consistently good, quality subs which has been owned and operated by a local family for years. Definitely not fancy… the décor is frozen in time to the late 70’s. The Food?? Everything is good, spinach pies particularly and they make a killer cheeseburger sub. An inexpensive place to eat for the amount and quality of food you receive. Drawbacks: 1. If you’re in a rush. don’t go at peak hours. They hire college and high school kids. so cut them some slack for community ties. 2. Too close to my gym. The smells that emanate from here entice you to cut the workout short and order up an Italian grindah.
