For a Perkins Restaurant I thought this one was pretty good. I was seated immediately. I believe the manager seated me. I let him know that I had gluten and dairy sensitivities. He gave me the gluten free guide, told me to look it over and then we would discuss my options. After a few minutes he came back and we talked about what I wanted to eat, could eat and eventually came up with a choice which was a breakfast special for $ 4.99. The food was average, but for a quick stop on a road trip and for the price of $ 4.99 I can’t complain.

We waited 15 minutes… Place was empty but they said they only had one waitress so we would have to wait longer. After we started mentioning other restaurants in the area we would go, the hostess seemed happy we were leaving. POORATTITUDE and understaffed!

I met some relatives here — I let them pick. It was exactly as I expected. Omelet was too hard, bland, and not very tasty. I would go back again to visit with the relatives.
I’ll start with the biscuits & gravy that we ordered. The biscuits were hard & not even close to being flaky. The gravy was just flour & water, no bits of pork or even the flavor of pork. Service was just fair at best. I’d recommend you avoid this place if you can.

My wife and I have stopped in Bristol for four years and have eaten at Perkins each time. We have found it to be a very pleasant place to eat. The food is good, prepared quickly and served by a great«down home» staff.
