Marquee Cinemas – Pinnacle 12

I went to watch «Concussion» here because it was hyped as an amazing new theatre with reservable, reclining seats. But overall I was very unimpressed here. The floor is littered with popcorn all in the lobby and halls and in the theaters. The bathroom is covered with paper towels, water, and urine. They do not keep the bathroom stocked and the lines are too long.

Having seen four movies here, I must say I am disappointed. The theater has great screens, sound, and seating, but they have obviously cut many corners.
1. If seeing a movie in a screen adjacent to the MXC screens you will be annoyed by the bass that bleeds through the wall. In fact, I believe they have actually turned down the bass in the MXC screens to reduce this; however, in doing so they have also limited the experience of the MXC sound. If they had properly soundproofed the walls or built a firewall between, this would have eliminated this problem.
2. The lighting on the ceiling and walls remains on throughout a movie. In a dark room the eye is drawn to this light and it is very annoying. This is the only theater that I have ever been to that does this.
3. There aren’t enough bathrooms. Every time I have been I have had to wait in line for the bathroom, something I have never had to do at any other theater.
4. The bathrooms aren’t cleaned, the floor is covered in urine and water.
5. The concession stand is dirty and if you order anything other than popcorn expect to wait ten minutes or longer. The self-​service soft drink machines are nice, but they are also not cleaned regularly. All of the food service containers for pizza, nachos, etc. are not used.
6. The popcorn is awful, they are not using Palm Oil which is what makes popcorn good. The corn is also cheap, as it is small and has no flavor.
I hope they find the right manager and remedy these issues, I really want to enjoy this theater, but until they do I will go elsewhere.

Wow this place is really nice brand-​new multiplex cinema with awesome assigned seating in nice big reclining leather chairs with beautiful brand-​new Decour and state-​of-​the-​art facilities
