We travel to Connecticut regularly to visit family. Thought this would be a fun place to meet up with an old friend, who also has kids. The bouncy houses were OK, though some of them were designed in such a way that my 5.5 yo got stuck in them(kids slide into a pit that’s hard to get out of, even if they meet height and age requirements). But at least we got a half hour or so of fun out the bouncy houses. The problem was the game room, which my son was super excited about. He and a friend played air hockey for about 3 minutes before the game room was overrun by the kids from the daycare that the owner also runs. Lots of kids, one grownup supervising them led to two older daycare kids wrestling the air hockey equipment right out of the hands of the 5 yo’s. Then we couldn’t play the wii that was advertised on the website, because the guy who ran the daycare set all of the daycare kids up on all the wii’s. So went downstairs to ask, at 4:30, how long the daycare kids would have free run of the game room. Turned out it was until 6 pm, when they close! They eventually worked out to allow our kids(who had all paid $ 11 each to go there) use one wii station, but then the daycare kids moved in and muscled the remotes away from the younger kids. It was a total disaster. There was a nice girl working the front desk who felt bad for us and gave us free passes to return, and also said she’d pass on to the owner that the current system of letting the daycare kids overrun the game room isn’t really working. I hope the owner takes note. This place is kind of a waste otherwise. The 5+ demographic really isn’t going to play in the bouncy houses for more than 30 minutes, at least not without a break, which the gameroom would provide if it weren’t taken over my minimally supervised kids. Without fair access to the gameroom, this place isn’t worth the money or the drive.

Super dirty inside the bouncy houses! I was there just recently with my son. He is little so I had to follow him around while he was inside having a blast in the bouncy houses. He had a blast but unfortunately there were hair balls and dirt marks(like sweaty feet marks and other random dirt marks) dust EVERYWHERE inside and on top of the inflatables. At one point my son brought me over a dirty tissue! We were there until they closed and it seemed that when they were deflating the houses they were not cleaned then. I took a shower before we went and definitely gave him a bath and took another shower when we got home. GROSS!!!

Awesome affordable inside activity for children of all ages. My son is one and they have a BRANDNEW2 and under area. He loves it! I am so grateful to have a place to take him each week during the winter months. The staff is friendly and helpful. I just want to mention they not only offer open jump but they very often have special programs which are fantastic. As a stay at home mom I am always looking for educational activities. J&J offers snacks that you can buy and a courtyard that you can enjoy them in while enjoying a movie. Lastly, we have attended several birthday parties here. Such a great idea of you are looking for something different and a place where young energetic kids can freely run and play and then enjoy food and presents in their own designated birthday room.

Fun little place to take your kids. We went for a birthday party and my 2.5 year old had a wonderful time. We’ll probably go back for an open jump at some point soon. There wasn’t any attraction my toddler couldn’t and didn’t want to attempt. There are a couple of large slides and a couple that are more like obstacle courses. The hour and change we ran around(parents are free and can climb along with their kids!) was more than enough for my little one. We could see the extra space where there is a Wii and some other games and since we were there in October the outside water parky things weren’t open, so I don’t know how those two areas are. For a venue that caters to children, it was very clean. Make sure you have SOCKS or they make you buy them. There are NOSHOES permitted in the jump area even for adults who just spectating. There claim is a health issue. This is fair enough since there are children touching everything that their feet touch. The staff were friendly enough and didn’t seem to want to get in the way of any of the fun. I’d recommend this place for people with children under the ages 5 or 6.

After going to monkey joes in Hamden, CT this place was a disappointment. There was not enough staff on the floor watching the kids and the one staff girl present was starring at her nails and feet almost the entire time during open gym. I forgot my socks and apparently can not even sit by the door if i did not purchase some. No problem, obviously I have to because I have to be sure my kids are safe. Kids like to bounce, so they will have fun anywhere, but the focus on me wearing socks was more important to that one member than safety of my son. As she asked my husband who was sitting on the bench to also buy some. I was not even walking or jumping on the bounce houses. I just casually following my kids around without my shoes. When I sat down, my 3 yr. old got hurt and was crying, that staff member did not help my son, instead another parent did. From the look of the eating area the floors and tables were dirty also to start with. So if sanitation is so important it probably should be present where people eat also. There is no place to buy warm food except snacks like chips and container ice cream. The outdoor area with the kitchen was dirty, but the kids enjoyed the water slides. I have to say the young lady who welcomed us and the young man at the end were nice, but the visit overall was just ok.

Great place for the kids. When we are back in Plainville visiting family we always hit this place. They love it we like it because the kids get a ton of exercise bring them back to grandmas and they are all in bed by 7 zonked out. Went to a few birthday parties very well organized and good staff. Wish we had one like this back in RI highly recommend

With more organization and management, this place could be so much more… but it’s still fun for younger children who are about 2 – 10 years old. It is specifically«un-fun» for toddlers with parents who are honest about their ages. The facility’s insurance doesn’t cover children under 2 years old for the inflatables and they are too old for the infant bouncers provided. My girlfriend’s 21 month old spent the evening playing in the water fountain(see picture provided). If they are old enough, there are more than enough«Bouncy Castles», slides, and obstacle courses to keep active kids shrieking with glee for hours. When they get tired of jumping, there is a somewhat neglected game room upstairs with Foosball(sans ball), air hockey(sans air), and Wii consoles(sans games and controllers). There was a sign indicating that the Wii games and controllers were available at the front desk. Having dragged two very worn out children and an irritable toddler up the stairs, we didn’t want to go back down and up again to get missing equipment. If your kids get hungry, you have to locate an employee who isn’t playing games on the PC in the office or talking to his girlfriend in the hall. After paying for our snacks, they had to leave us for several minutes to find change since there was not enough in the register(I think he went to the restaurant next door to get it). If I had one wish, it would be a small toddler play area with some toy kitchens, work benches, etc. While there is some room for improvement, the kids had fun and we plan to go back… Probably to allow the toddler«crazy go nuts» time after he turns two.
