This mall stinks, Sears is the only anchor store left. JCP closed and Belk moved to the Pinnacle. Other stores are closing or already have, most of this mall is nothing but empty stores. If you want to shop in Bristol head to the Pinnacle especially after it’s complete or head to exit 7. There is no reason to shop at this mall anymore.

Ok so if you don’t plan on doing much shopping but you would rather walk around inside… then this is the place for you! Otherwise take the trip to the Kingsport mall. The stores are similar to what you would find in a mall that is about to go out of business but in the same instance they do have some department stores.

This mall is located on the outskirts of Bristol, on the VA side. Conveniently located off exit 1A on I-81, this mall only has second to third tier generic department stores; Sears, JCPenny, and Belk are those stores. The rest of the mall is filled with a bunch of little independent retailers; it seems that most national retailers have left this mall. Stores of note are Hibbett Sports, Radio Shack, GNC, FYE, and Verizon. The list of retailers is very short. You can probably get what you’re looking for when you need a «type» of something, but if you’re looking for specific brands or products, you’ll most likely have to drive to Johnson City to the JC Mall. I really wouldn’t be surprised if this mall were shut down within a few years; there just needs to be better management and planning to make this place viable.
