Very good at what they do — pizza and diner food. Completely unpretentious, but great quality and friendly service.

Very nice relaxed family restaurant. Ribs are literally to die for. We’ve been here many times and come every visit to newfound lake region.

Fun place with good enough food. Pizza and the spicy calamari were very well done and they had a few extra decent beers on draft as well. The staff were very accommodating and the WiFi work well which was an important part of our meal this time but it may not be an important part of yours. You won’t be disappointed.

Got take out, chicken bacon wranch wrap & cup of clam chowder. The cup was a little small but the chowder was delicious! The wrap was very good too. Definitely recommend!

Hands down the best item on the menu is the steak tip basket. The meat is fresh and cooked to perfection. My son tried a gourmet pizza and loved it. On the other hand, my little guy ordered a kid’s pizza that was basically sauce and cheese on a stale pita. Overall, the food is tasty. We’ll be back.

Good food, reasonably priced, great family place. Great place to go if you want a night out. A favorite of my kids. We haven’t had takeout or to go yet but will likely be a frequent stop for us as we are new to the area.

This review is based solely on the awesome steak and cheese I had here, I highly recommend it.

When we first moved to the area, we lived off of their food for 10 days straight until our kitchen was up and running. This is a great place for take out and even a simple sit down dinner. They have a great gluten free menu also. Best steak and cheese sub around and awesome pizza. Always happy with anything we order.

I’ve been going here since my teens. It’s always good. Got a Big Mikes calzone. Stuffed full and cooked to perfection. The place is clean and the help was pleasant. I dropped one star because I had to listen to someone in the background complaining about a customer that came in. Do your complaining quietly or when nobody is there.

Ate lunch and dinner this week. Service was excellent. Food was great for adults and kids. Clam bellies tasty. Pizza surprisingly excellent. My daughter raved over the ravioli. A local gem.

Best pizza in this part of NH. I also tried the ziti and it was fairly average, but the pizza makes up for it. The cheese fries are also really great. Nice service and nice food. If you’re in the mood for pizza at a sit down joint, or even take out, while you’re near Newfound, I recommend BHOP.

This place is often packed and i dont know why. The place is terrible. Go down the street to village house. You could find better food in a snack machine. Get the small sub here and let me tell you its small.

BHOP has a large menu with something for everyone. My wife and I suggest the Special Steak and Cheese Sub(toasted on a roll and a side of Onion Rings as a great add-on) which is never skimped on and is less greasy than a number 9 at any D’Angelos. The one thing about the special steak sub is that you are guaranteed to fall asleep after eating it within an hour. Simply de-lish!

Average italian food in a town with very few options. The sauce is bland and unexciting. The service was friendly though and I was surprised to find the seating is more like a real restaurant rather than a pizza joint.

I had lunch at BHOP on Saturday with my aunt and uncle who own a condo nearby. My girlfriend asked who first discovered the restaurant. The question confused me. No one discussed BHOP, it was just always there… probably because it is the only sit down restaurant in Bristol. I’ve been going for about two decades. The place, a casual family type restaurant, hasn’t changed much in that time. I recommend the calzones. They come in just one size and at first glance look medium, but they are filling. I nearly always bring home half for second dinner. The outside is crispy and the inside is overloaded with tasty innards. I order just pepperoni and the pepperonis are stacked from top to bottom. For dessert, I always get the baklava. I know a lot of Greek houses of pizza claim homemade baklava, but this is the real thing. It is usually served warm, which makes it even better.(If you take any home, don’t heat it up in the microwave; I don’t understand the science but something about the heat does weird stuff to the sugar inside making it practically inedible.) I like to eat it from top down: First the layer of filo pastry, then the nuts inside, and then the last layer of pastry which is soaked in syrup. When I ordered it the last time, one order came with two pieces. They also topped it with whipped cream, unnecessary, but nice and clearly homemade as well.

Eh… I hope Bristol can offer something better for dinner, since Gilly’s set the bar so high for breakfast. Slow service, despite a nearly empty restaurant. My steak tips were overdone and very salty. They had table tents with a list of beers, there was an obscure microbrew that intrigued me… when I ordered it the waitress said she never heard of it so they don’t serve it any more, so I’d have to have something else. Then when she served me my consolation prize she informed me they did in fact have the one I really wanted, and I could have it as my next beer if I wanted. She didn’t offer to replace the one I didn’t really want with the one I did want. I’d have to order two to get it. It was just a disappointing experience all around.

This has been our«go to» pizza place for the past seven years. In those years the pizza has remained as good as the first bite that hooked us.

After spending some time at the slopes, I stopped at Bristol House of Pizza(BHOP) for some dinner takeout very recently. BHOP is located across the street from the Middle School. BHOP is a casual family restaurant offering a full service dining room with booths and a takeout area. The owners of BHOP also own the Vineyards in Belmont. Menu offerings include pizza, calzones, salads, pasta dishes, chicken, seafood, and Greek dishes. The prices are pretty fair, most entrees priced $ 8.95-$ 14.96 and come with salad and bread. Bottled beer is also offered. When I stopped in here on a Friday evening, the takeout area was really busy with a steady stream of customers and the dining room had a few customers dining in. I ordered the Spaghetti a la Forno($ 9.95) served with a salad and bread and a small Sausage Pizza($ 7.95). I thought I would be waiting for a while on a busy night, but my order of hot food was ready in 10 minutes. The food was really good. The Spaghetti a la Forno was a good sized and tasty portion baked in a round foil container(very hot), packed with soft spaghetti, a hearty tomato sauce and topped with lots of melted cheese. The salad was fresh and pretty standard. The crusty Italian bread(served as is) was good for dipping the sauce. This dish was similar to my own baked spaghetti pie, except no eggs. The pizza was a Greek style pizza pie which was pretty good tasting, with the right amounts of pizza sauce, sliced sausage, and a good layer of cheese. The crust soft and light inside and thicker along the edges. Overall, a good tasting dinner with leftovers, priced around $ 19 with tax.
