Great authentic Mexican food. Everything was delicious. The restaurant is extremely clean, including the restrooms and a great, friendly staff. I will definitely come back!

This is it — your new favorite Mexican restaurant! Great service, great food, clean restaurant. I enjoyed the chips and salsa, the carne asada plate, and(yum!) the sopapillas. I have nothing bad to say here. Looking forward to returning and trying more choices!

I decided to stop by here to grab some to go food. After realizing it was taco Tuesday and they had 1.25 tacos I decided to stay. It was absolutely delicious. Yes, there are a lot of Mexican restaurants in Brighton… but this one takes the cake. Best tacos I’ve had in colorado! Great service also!

I frequent this place during the lunch hour with several of my colleagues and I have to say they consistently feed us great food. The staff is always friendly and the meal is prepared quickly and to order. Brighton has a lot of mexican cuisine but none of which is as good and«home cooked» as Kikos. The location is a little off the beaten path and parking is kind of odd but it’s worth finding them and giving them a try.

This place if great! They have great food, great specials, and great wait staff. On Tuesdays they do $ 1.25 tacos and they are to die for. Every week the selection of meat changes for the tacos. Even the other items on their menu are great. And it is a cheap place. What other places can you feed a family for $ 20 or under? My family and I go here about once a month. It is our favorite restaurant! Update: you have got to try their pork tacos on Tuesday. They are awesome! I usually get 3 tacos and I have the hardest time deciding as the pork, steak, chicken & chorizo are all really good.

I’ve tried this place a few times. They have a decent taco and tostada. Green chile isn’t terrible. The staff is polite. Everything else is pretty bad. I’m starting to think all the restaurants in Brighton suck. Ok. I started thinking that a while ago. Now I’m sure of it. I’m really starting not to like Brighton. Kind of a crap hole. And when I say kind of, I mean mostly. If you want to enjoy a good meal left of your kitchen, drive to Denver. That’s what I’ll be doing until I can escape the purgatory of inedible outings.

JUST what Brighton needed, another Mexican restaurant. And this one is in a weird location, the north end of Main St., where there’s nothing but feed stores and auto repair places, and their parking lot is tight and facing the wrong direction for easy access. BUT I DIGRESS. These guys are OK, I guess. Food is nothing spectacular, but reasonably priced for the amount they give ya. Everything I’ve had so far here has been edible, but the enchiladas were sauced in a tomato-ey, bland kind of affair, not recommended. Service, while unexceptional, is not typical Brighton HORRIBLE, either. They named this place Kiko’s, and that’s funny, because physically, it reminds me of a KINKOS, the copy shop. Modern steel and plate glass exterior, plastic fast-food type booths, and GIANT fluorescent panels for lighting. It couldn’t be any more austere, cold, uninviting and unauthentic. But we drove by it a few hundred times and decided to give it a try anyway. I got a laugh outta the review that said this place had been«gringoized». Sorry, even in MEXICO, stuff is pretty«gringoized». And nopalitos? Who even eats those, its CACTUS, fer Pete’s sake. Before somebody pins the demise of a certain item on «gringos don’t order it», ask yourself, is this something anybody would really eat all that much of in the first place?

I just ate here about an hour ago and just felt the need to write a review right away. This place was perfection. I got the smothered burrito with pork green chile. It was an amazing price, even with the guacamole it was like $ 7, The chili was fantastic, and so was the chicken. I now live in New Jersey and cannot get smothered burritos out there so this was like heaven on earth. The service was very friendly and I’d love to support this place more if I lived in the area. My friend got some tacos and said they were awesome. I cannot recommend this place enough!

We stopped in here for breakfast last week. I had a breakfast burrito smothered in green chili(half mild and half hot)… It was fantastic with a good amount of spicy kick. The service was fast and friendly. We will definitely be returning.

Finally, a good Mexican restaurant with hot green chili. It was a sad day when El Coyote sold out but Kikos is a nice addition to Brighton with great food.

Great food, great service and prices are amazing… smothered burritos have green chilli and white cheese, I love that. Oh and it was clean and bright, no dingy, dark place here. We will be back.

Of all the Mexican restaurants in Brighton, CO(of which there are many), Kikos is hands down the best food, and the best service. It’s family owned and operated and when you walk in the door and are greeted with friendly smiles, you almost get the feeling that you are a guest in their home. The food is always made with fresh quality ingredients, and has lots of flavor. They have delicious handmade tamales on Wednesdays and Fridays, and the masa is the best I’ve ever had with an almost light creamy texture that just melts in your mouth. I also recommend the tacos al pastor, pico de gallo, and the chile rellenos. One other tip, the horchata and cucumber water are scrumptious and definitely worth a try!

Kikos is located off North Main Street in Brighton, Colorado and serves authentic Mexican food. The restaurant is clean and the wait staff is very friendly and accommodating. The booths are small — The benches are very close to the tables, and cannot be moved(they are affixed to the tables). The restaurant does have at least a half-dozen tables where the chairs are not attached to the tables, which would probably be more comfortable. My party ordered the authentic tacos, a quesdadilla, and a side of asada and rice. The food was good and certainly more authentic than the other Mexican restaurants in Brighton, Colorado; however, the food was slightly bland — The tacos were missing the typical Mexican crème. I would likely dine in at Kikos again, but it would not be my first choice.

Good food. The tacos are priced well considering their size. Got the tacos de tinga. The tinga was good, but not great. Would definitely come back and order them again though. Also, the tostada was good. The tortilla for the tostada was soft by the time I ate it, but the tostada was flavorful. Good prices for the food. Good flavor. Authentic mexican food.
