Always busy(great sign) and delicious! Love the chicken gyro meat, lamb gyro, and the grilled shrimp skewers on a greek salad. Spanikopita is not the best I’ve had, could use more filling for a heartier portion in comparison to their other dishes. All of the cold appetizers are delicious. Always bring warm pita to the table when you sit. Somehow only see one server working the whole dining area, and he is on point!

We literally order this on a weekly basis and it’s always perfection. Tzaiki and Greek salads are the best ever.

Wonderful dinner experience. Everything was fresh and flavorful and the portion size was perfect. The pita was served warm which was an unexpected special touch — I just wish it had been the thicker type of pita because not eating it right away while warm results in an inedible tasteless cracker. The galaktoboureko is really special here — it’s served warm! I’ve never had it that way and it’s fantastic. I look forward to going back again.

A casual and tasty Greek spot. I enjoyed the keftedes here, and everybody else liked their meals. I got the falafel wrap to go, to eat on a later flight, and found it much more appealing than the airline food. But that’s undeserved damning with faint praise: this is a nice spot! Good food and good service.

Lived up to the billing on Unilocal!I travel frequently and as a guy that truly VALUES Unilocal to lead me in the right direction, this place did not disappoint. The portion size was as advertised and the quality of the food and service were on par to my expectations. I am confident that if I were to frequently eat here I would rate it even higher.

Fairly cheap and great falafel wrap. Not many vegetarian options, but wasn’t expecting that given that it’s Greek.

We stopped here for lunch based on the Unilocal reviews and we weren’t disappointed. We enjoyed the friendly, casual environment and excellent food from the good sized menu of Greek food. Everything seemed fresh and tasty. I especially liked the Greek yogurt salad dressing.

If I can give more than 5 stars, then I will! So I order the usual yummy food for delivery. Food gets here in good time, as usual, and the food is fresh and awesome. Nothing unusual. Only that my drink was forgotten. I called the driver since I wanted check if he had left it in his car by accident. He hadn’t. Ok, no big deal, the drink was 2 bucks, so I am fine with foregoing it. So I start eating my delicious food and I get a call from the delivery man. I go downstairs and he has my drink AND a box of chocolate chip cookies, with the owner’s apology. Are you guys for real??? :) this was the sweetest thing and it really made my long day so much better. Thanks for the awesome food!

If you’re in Brighton and looking for delicious Greek food look no further! I came here on a Friday night and the place was busy with take out and moderately busy in the dining room. The red sangria is good, I like that it’s served with frozen blackberries. The Greek dressing on the salad is top notch and the gyros are fantastic! I will definitely be back again!

Little hidden restaurant right next to the Dunkin donuts is a MUST try, if you want Greek food. They make their own Greek housing salad dressing too, if you order a meal the Greek salad comes with it too. Ive tried the spinach pies and pistasio both were the delicious. Greek dip and pita bread as an app to start, can’t go wrong here. Will revisit.

I LOVE this place. I’ve been here at least a dozen times, probably twice that. The staff(and the owners in particular) are friendly and helpful, and the food is some of the best Greek I’ve had. I’ve never been disappointed. So delicious. I could eat their spanakopita for days. And the falafel. And the salad…(I guess I know what I’m getting for dinner tonight!) Four stars because if you’re getting takeout, the wait can be a bit long. When dining in, make sure to have a jacket or layers. I find it can be chilly. Lastly, the parking situation is rough.

Best greek food in Boston. Hands down. One of my best friends and I come fairly regularly. Prices are great for your value. The greek dressing is super tasty and flavorful and they will custom make gyros(as in i can get no onions which is great). Service isn’t always the fastest when you sit down but that doesn’t bother me at this place.

This place is super. We have been getting take out here about once a week ever since they opened. Really, really nice people, excellent service, and the food is always absolutely delicious and reasonably priced. I think they are by far the best business in Brighton.

I love Esperia Grill!!! I live in the neighborhood and eat here 1 – 2 times a week & have for 2 – 3 years = more than 100EXCELLENT dining experiences. The greek salad is always fresh and their(made in house) greek dressing is wonderful. My favorite dish is the rotisserie chicken(with 2 sides) but the lamb, seafood & giros are all excellent.(There’s that word again) And don’t overlook the greek specialities. No wonder they were awarded«Best of Boston» in the greek restaurant category last Boston magazine. It’s a family restaurant and they truly make you feel like family. Beer and wine and very reasonable prices, too… Save room for home made deserts & bon appetit Oh yeah, excellent service, too Key words: fresh delicious value

Absolutely some of the best Greek food I’ve ever had. The prices are very reasonable, and if you go for dinner, it’s even better. If you go after 5pm(I think), they change from you ordering at the counter to sit down service. Ive been several times. The first time I got the keftedes, which are Greek meatballs. All dinners on their menu come with two hot sides, and I usually get the lemon potatoes and the butternut squash purée. The keftedes were great, but the dinner you really need to get is the spanakopita. It’s amazing. Also, all of their dinners come with a starter of a basket of warm pita with tzatziki sauce and a Greek salad. Overall, the service is quick, the prices are good, and the food is amazing.

5STARS Experience! What an amazing meal, we started with the(4) Cold Appetizer plate which lets you pick from a list of 15, we went with Marinated Fresh Mushrooms, Tabouleh, Skordalia, Tzatziki, we also added a small side of Hummus. This could of been my favorite part of the meal, the flavors were through the roof, so delicious. The Hummus was perfect, the amount of lemon used in the recipe sends it to the next level! Warm pita was also brought out with the appetizers to enjoy. I even told my wife I could go vegetarian tonight and just eat these appetizers because they were that damn good. Of course I couldn’t stop there, I had to try the Beef Kabob Plate, and it was amazing. The beef was cooked perfectly, extremely tender and seasoned beyond my expectation, it was so good! The grilled onions and peppers were also amazing. The corn was roasted and my french fries were crispy and delicious. The dressing on the Greek salad was very tasty also. This could be the best Greek restaurant I’ve ever been to! The service was outstanding, our waiter was very polite, it was an absolute perfect meal after a long day exploring the city. I wouldn’t think twice about coming back, it will definitely be a memorable experience. Best meal we’ve had on our trip so far.

I’ve been coming here since at least from ’08 onwards. This is my all time favorite Greek restaurant and one of my top 5 places of all time. Their pastries are top notch and the pastures here are home made by Mrs. Athanasiadis herself. It’s actually better than Athans Pastry down the street! When the writer named Pan Athanasiadis came by to my girlfriends and my table I was in a hypnotic trance.

I first gave this place 3 stars but the next day after eating here I had an upset stomach all day. I’m worried that eating here right at the end of the day before closing meant I ate something that had been sitting out. I don’t think I’ll be back here. I didn’t like the appetizers that I tried(hummus, falafel, grape leaves and giant beans). All had so much salt that it was hard to taste the food, especially the falafel. As a salt fiend, I couldn’t believe it. The hummus was mostly acidic lemon juice with the other flavors completely overshadowed. I was left disappointed that such simple foods could be ruined so easily.

I came here once, I did like it, but it was very expensive. I ordered the grilled chicken greek salad, the portion was large the grilled chicken was tender and had a good taste and the Greek dressing was amazing but the lettuce and the«salad» part was lacking big time. I have eaten salad that when I take a bit, I «ooh and ahh» in my mind. I know your thinking salad is salad… but it’s really not… the leaves were dry, not wilted though and lacked any flavor/moisture. Usually I can eat lettuce without dressing but I could not with this salad. Thankfully, the Greek dressing was, AMAZING!!! It had to be homemade because I have never had a Greek dressing so rich, creamy and flavorful! It really salvaged the salad. Never again will I spend $ 11 on a salad where most of it gets thrown away. Next time, I will most likely get a meal that comes with a small salad… I can eat a little bland salad but not a lot, lol. Everything else there looked amazing though!!!

I got Esperia takeout last night and it was yummy! My sister and I both got lamb– souvlaki and shanks. Her souvlaki was a little salty for my liking and my lamb was a tad over cooked. I was also bummed that they had run out of potatoes but it was 9pm on a Friday night so I understand. Otherwise, our meal was delicious!

I drove by this place many many many times and I finally decided to give it a try with the wife. When we entered, we were greeted right away and given the option to choose whatever table we wanted. Once seated, we looked through the menu and decided to give the following a try: Falafels: $ 1.50/piece and it is very small but DEFINITELYWORTHTHETRY! Very unique flavor that I haven’t tasted in any other falafels that I have had in the past Fries: Omg. You wouldn’t think a Greek restaurant would be amazing at making fries but this place is an exception. I was blown away by how good their fries were. Super super super crispy and every bite made that«crunch» sound. Lamb kebab w/two sides: I love lamb so I might be biased but I really loved the portion and the side dishes were so freaking delicious. Salad was on point, rice was cooked to perfection, and those grilled veggies were on the money Chicken gyro: They give you a LOTOFMEAT. They don’t hold back. Seasoned to perfection and the bread… omg…I am drooling as I am thinking about that gyro. I’m so sad it took me so long to give this place a try. I am definitely coming back here more often!

My dining in experience on a Friday night was excellent. It was fairly busy with only one man taking care of the seating of guests, taking orders, delivering the food, and providing the check at the end. He was always on the go! But service was still excellent and super kind. Will come back! Ordered: — chicken gyro: so generous with the chicken, seasoned deliciously. the sauce was very tasty. i just wish there was more tomatoes in it. gyro itself is very big! — fries: BESTFRIESEVER. They make it super crispy and crunchy, just the way I like it — falafel sides: kind of small but the inside is so perfect. the hummus that comes out with it is excellent, kind of zesty. — lamb plate: generous with the portions, comes with two sides and a house salad

I love this place. They never fail to brighten my day with a great gyro or kabob salad. Baklava is surprisingly delicious, too. I haven’t had much of their traditional hot meals, but they always look great. On a side note, they seem to be great to their employees. They always have a vacation in the summer, to which I am sad that I can’t get their food, but it seems like a great perk to a rather hectic restaurant life.

AWESOME, CHEAPGREEKFOOD! — — — — — — — — — — — — — – + PORKGYRO: The pork is cooked very well without being burnt. The pita is the perfect thickness, keeping in all the meat without breaking. The pork is definitely heavier than the chicken. For $ 8, the size of this gyro is unlike anything you can get in Boston. It comes with a small side salad that is like a typical Greek salad paired with Caesar dressing. + CHICKENGYRO: Just as good as the pork gyro; it’s just a preference between whether you like pork or chicken better. Can’t choose? Grab a friend and split the pork and chicken gyros! This was the best combination for lunch. TIPS: — Be sure to check the Esperia website for open hours during the summer. As the Greeks do cherish their vacations, they will be closed for a month. In 2015, they were closed from July 4 – 21. — They also do not deliver on Sundays!

I’m Greek so I’m qualified to say that the food here is really authentic. That being said, you have to eat there to get the full effect because it is simply not as good when you order delivery. I’ve also had their catering and it was really good. So, good in all accounts. Let’s talk about dining there… I’ve been to this place for lunch with coworkers multiple times. You have to order at the counter and depending on how busy they are they will either bring your food to your table or you have to pick it up at the counter. I was with a large group so they brought the food to us. The inside isn’t that big so be strategic about when you go. Someone also brought ice water and served it in mason jars, which was cute. We got some appetizers and they were so good that I ate too much of the and are less than half I of my lunch! We got grape leaves(uh-mazing), spanakopita, and tatziki. These are all dishes my family makes so I’m picky and they were all good. The tatziki was served with decent pita bread and the spanakopita was not at all soggy. The grape leaves were the star– though that’s only true if you like grape leaves. Some people can find them bitter or dislike the texture. Those people don’t matter. I have gotten the falafel wrap with Greek salad as well as the chicken gyro. Both are Amazon g and very filling. After lunches at esperia I know that the second half of my day will not be as productive. Still worth it. :)

Both experiences of sitting in and taking out is very good. The chicken gyro is delicious and all meat with the soft pita bread. If you add a salad is $ 2. It is fresh and delicious! I love Greek salad with that fresh feta cheese. I’m glad the gyro doesn’t have too much dressing. The restaurant itself is very clean and tidy! I will go again!!! The kabob dinners are tasty too and very filling. You get to choose 2 sides!

Amazing food!!! Hard to describe how good everything is here. You order at the counter and then they bring your food to your table. The spinach pie was light, crispy, and flavorful. I highly recommend the pork gyro. The pork was cooked so well and packed with flavor, while the pita was crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. The pita for the pork gyro was probably my favorite thing about my whole meal here. The prices are very reasonable for the amount of food you get. I hear they do delivery too — so I’ll need to check that out one day!
