Breakfast is where it is at. Best breakfast in town. We love it all. Gave it a second chance and fell in love.

My first experience at Cheryl’s. I ordered the Greek skillet. I received a pile of potatoes with3 eggs but very little meat. They should call it a big pile of expensive potatoes.

The food here is good, but not my favorite breakfast in Brighton. The portions are HUGE so definitely come hungry. I like that they offer egg whites as an alternative for many of their dishes. I had the Greek Skillet, which was delicious. My hubs had the Meat Lovers Skillet and he said it was«ok.» Pretty traditional breakfast choices and average diner coffee. I would love to see a few creative options added to the menu. I had a hard time choosing what I wanted — nothing really stood out. Cozy atmosphere and very attentive service — I can see why many people love this place. I just think I seek a little more adventure when it comes to my breakfast options.

When I think of breakfast… Cheryl’s is the FIRST place that comes to mine. They always put a smile on my face. From the great people that work there to the filling and tasty food selections.

Stopped in on the way home from an early DTW run. Service was good. Food was run of the mill. For lack of a better description, it’s a standard fare diner. On the plus side they open early.

The best breakfast around these parts and it’s not even close. From skillets to French toast, it’s delicious and they do it fast! Great service, always is packed on the weekends but we never seem to have to wait that long.

First time here. Quick service and food was out before I knew it. It hit the spot. This place isn’t fancy and it shouldn’t be. They do an amazing job at what they do. I’ll be back!

My wife and I have eaten here a couple of times during the rush of Sunday morning. We haven’t had to wait for more than 10 minutes for a table, food comes to the table fast, we eat and out the door in about 30 – 45 minutes later. I can’t complain, food is good, they are fast and get you out the door. It’s very efficient for a small place.

Great place for breakfast. Haven’t been here in a while forgot how much food they give you !! The waitress was awesome and really appreciate them accommodating our larger group with a high chair and wheelchair. Tight fit but they were so very helpful !! Thanks Cheryl’s

Best breakfast in Brighton. Hands down. Coffee is awesome. Food is awesome. Waitstaff is awesome. Can’t find anything negative to say. I am a long-time customer, going there before the remodel. The food quality has not slipped. Try the skillet plates, they are, well, Awesome!

Went here today just off a great Unilocal review and I was not disappointed! Heaps of crispy bacon, incredibly fresh mushrooms and spinach in my omelet, and some of the best hash browns I’ve ever had(crispy on the outside and softer on the inside). Food was very much enjoyed by all in my family. My only complaint is that the staff was not very friendly. No one smiled much and we felt rushed a bit. Overall though, we would definitely recommend it.

Really like the place, fresh super fast and the staff is usually real good. It’s kinda expensive but whatever. Thats not a complaint as much as an observation. I will be back. The omelettes are great

I am not reviewing the food at all, because I didn’t have a chance to eat it. The majority of this review is mainly about the management and the way they handle their relationships with customers. To make a long story short, I got married 11−7−15. Our wedding reserved a large wedding block of rooms at the Marriott in Brighton. It seemed natural that we would have a breakfast for everyone who stayed at the hotel at a highly rated, local Brighton establishment. I called in June to discuss with Maria, the owner, to figure out how we could work this with about 25 – 35 people staying at the hotel. We decided on a 10am breakfast time for all of the people who were staying in our hotel block. I called back in September and in October to confirm that the plans were still on. Every time she confirmed that we were good to go. I called one last time on the day before the wedding, and Maria asked if we could adjust our time to 9:30am since 10am is usually when they get hit hard with a breakfast rush. I thought it was strange that she would tell me this only after I called to confirm, again. Why not call me and ask me ahead of time? Oh well, we rolled with the punches. Sunday morning arrives, and our group of 27 roll up to Cheryl’s. I walk in and Maria says they cannot serve us. She said that we were not there at 8:45 like we agreed on. Wait, what??? 8:45?!? NEVER once was 8:45 even discussed between us. I would NEVER have expected our guests to stay up until 2 at our wedding and then wake up for an 8:45am breakfast. We would have just changed our plans. Maria just kept saying that they couldn’t serve us. Overall, it was terrible business. She didn’t even try to accommodate us. She didn’t offer even an apology. It was a low note in our wedding weekend. Frankly, it was embarrassing to us as the bride & groom. As the groom, I vow that I will NEVER give my patronage to this place if I’m ever in Brighton. Be leery of Maria and her management team. They can’t be trusted.

Every single thing in their menu is amazing. Breakfast and lunch. They have the best omlettes and fries. The servers a great. So sweet. They know my order and I go maybe twice a month. Prices are fair. You can’t even get in the door on Sunday mornings!

Like many people, I have one dish I always seek out and order as often as possible … Eggs Benedict. And really, I think this breakfast favorite is falling off menus everyday which makes me sad. BUT alas, I think I just found the most PERFECT Eggs Benny in the entire world at Cheryl’s Place in Brighton, MI. I ordered my poached eggs medium, and crazy, they came out medium… never happens, usually I get too runny. And instead of bland Canadian Bacon, they use excellent, high quality, local Dearborn Ham. YUM. And oh, that hollandaise sauce… perfection too. Home fries were very good, but I would ask fir crunchy next visit for a complete score of 10⁄10.

Turns out this is the locals watering hole! We were there for 10 minutes before the place filled up. Thought with the reviews it would be great. Turned out to be just ok. Nothing to complain about but nothing to write home about either.

Very good. Reasonably priced. Clean tables. Wait staff is very responsive and nice. The menu was large, but breakfast was the main theme. I had the farmer’s omelette, made with three XL eggs and filled with hashbrowns, vegetables and cheese. My wife had the Philly steak and cheese. It was completely lacking salt and pepper, but was easily fixed at the table and was cooked well… the bread didn’t hold up to the sandwich, though. I also tried their coffee, which was what you’d expect, but not bad. Definitely will come back again.

We have cravings for the country fried steak and our craving brought us back to Cheryl’s two years after our first encounter. The country fried steak is massive and delicious. It’s crispy with a great gravy that’s not over salted. It comes with eggs, toast, and home fries. I got the corned beef omelette and while it’s not the best I’ve had, it was pretty tasty and filling. The environment is fun — it’s been crowded the two times we have been and the waitstaff is really friendly. The portion sizes are quite generous for the asking price. The quality of the food isn’t to rave about but it’s tasty and filling. What a great and random find in Brighton!
